Mary Stonewall has been running for the last few days. Day and night had come and gone as she ran from her captures who was hot on her heels still. On this day, the sun was starting to rise over the Horizon in the east. Leaning against a tree, she was panting heavily and exhaustion was starting to kick in. With fear fueling it, she reached into her bag and took her bottle of water out and drank some of it until she heard not to far away. "She went this way! Go get her and teach her a lesson she will not forget!" Looking around, her body was in a frantic. Hearing a branch break feet away from her near her right side back, she ran like a mouse being chased by a herd of cats. Going through bushes, thick branches, she was on the run for her life which she felt that was coming to a close end. Her journey had led her from Tennessee all the way to Louisiana. With her heart pumping a mile a minute, she just tried to stay alive long enough to try and find someone to help her since there was about 15 men chasing after her in Pick up trucks and by foot now since the wooded area she was in was to thick for trucks to get through. As she bolted, her foot caught the edges of roots of an over turned tree. When she landed, she heard a Swoosh going over her which followed up with a thump.
Looking up at the tree in front of her, she saw a Crossbow bolt sticking into the tree. Scrambling to her feet, she began her running again. And since they were now shooting at her, she was zig and zagging in and around trees. When she felt she had a good enough gap between her and her captures, she went around to the other side of a tree and pulled out her walking stick. Lifting it up in a baseball bat form, she heard more and more foot steps approaching her. The closest one was coming up on her left side. When he came past the tree, she swung with all her might into the side of the man's head making a loud Crack! which caused him to fall to the ground with blood running down from the injury. With that being done, she ran since it was loud enough for other's in the area to hear that cracking sound and the body hitting the ground. Every step she took, her body screamed at her, begging her to stop and catch her breath and to relax. A torrent of pain was racing through her body as she kept her body moving to keep that distance from those that mean to end her life. A new pain pierced her in her shoulder and then another in her thigh which caused her to hit the ground rolling, breaking the wooden shafts of two arrows that were sticking out of her body.
With these injuries, she screamed out in dear heavy pain. With her left arm, she tried to pull herself to a log that had a gap under it where she could hide. Her hand slid over the damp bark of the fallen tree and was pulling herself up as she was crying because of the pain. With her on her one knee, she was half way over it until she froze in place when she heard the sound of a zipper going down from behind her. "Ey boys! Over here! I found her and she is presenting herself. Time for us to teach her a lesson." Rolling onto her back as blood slid down her arm and her leg, she screamed again, but this time, she said words. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!", "Oh keep it down dear. It will only make us having our way with you longer and harder. Hahahaha" The other men were starting to approach her as that man was getting closer to her as she tried to move away from him. Rolling off the log, she landed on her back and was trying to make a distance from him. But he was already on top of her with his hands over her neck and squeezing. Grunting outloud and trying to gasp for air, she was trying to hit the man with her good and usable hand. But it wasn't doing any good to help her.
