....back in front of the Main Castle..... As everyone headed out to their assignments, Sarah whistled over to Paul, motioning to the older man; walking over to him, she said, "Paul, take Rodger and Hollis down to the grass strip behind the Main Castle and be ready to pick up some flyboys...."(Paul) Standing next to one of San Simeon's off-road vehicles - formerly the property of the California State Parks Department - Paul Popham looked around and waited for Tegan's aircrews to land; nearby, Rodger and Hollis stood guard, weapons at the ready. "You see them yet?" Hollis asked.
"Not yet," paul replied, keeping his eyes and ears open; as Sarah's second-in-charge at San Simeon, it was his job to keep all the personalities there in their proper orbits - what is it Sarah always says, he thought...ah, yes: everyone in its' proper orbit. It wasn't the easiest job in the world but the transplanted Bostonian didn't mind.
Julie watched as all around her people scrambled to get things ready. Her long blond hair hung in her eyes as she just stood there, watching. Nelson to her seemed honest, genuine. She was there with him; in the hospital. She watched as he confronted his wife, his wife that died in that hospital three years ago. She watched the panic seize him and he didn't have the heart to put her down. She could tell he still loved her. He didn't strike Julie as someone who struck fear into the hearts of men, but then again; she was tired of being afraid. Tired of cowering behind those stronger than her. Tired of needing constant rescue. Julie pouted her lip and blew a puff of air that sent her bangs flying as she watched Tegan planning the course of action. Julie was holding Tyler now, he was sleepily lying his head on her shoulder as she stood there. Tegan had this. Tegan always had it, it was her unshakable leadership that drew Julie to her in the first place, her confidence, her presence. Everything that Julie was not, her polar opposite and Julie knew that she would do anything for Tegan. She would protect her against anything. Even herself. Julie walked over with Tyler in her arms with a purposeful step. She looked over the map as everyone went about moving vehicles.
Julie: All this for Nelson? Honey, did you see that guy? He didn't strike me as the typa'man to be much of a threat.
Julie hated that she was questioning her wife, but the fact was Nelson had saved her in that hospital. If it wasn't for him, she might not be standing her. Why would he save her only to attack them right after? One could argue that he needed her to get out, but what was the end game? Julie didn't get it, and she frowned a little quietly doubting herself before putting on a smile.

All this for Nelson? Honey, did you see that guy? He didn't strike me as the typa'man to be much of a threat. Julie said as Tegan stood and went over the plan she'd just explained to everyone; looking over at her, Tegan hugged her close and stood back. "There's something about him I don't trust, Peach," Tegan said, "and I'm not gonna' meet him until I know I can control the area we're meeting in, not before. That's why we're getting everything moved around before I go down there." It sucked not trusting people nowadays but Tegan - or her Scouts, for that matter - hadn't made it this far on trust alone; as someone once said, Tegan mused, "Trust, but verify...."
What'chu need from me skygirl? Julie asked.
Kissing her on the forehead and letting her head rest on Julie's for a few moments, Tegan said, "I need you to stay here, baby, okay? Stay here with Tyler where's it safe, okay?" adding "I'm not risking anymore lives that I have to; the sooner we can get this meeting out of the way, the sooner we all can get back here safe and sound," kissing Julie again, "okay, Peach?"
Nelson: Get them all in the trucks. Be careful though, it'd be a shame for one of you to get hurt before we have this meeting.
Nelson watched as his men went about the task he set for them. He watche them loading the box trucks with a great smile on his face. Yet, Something was troubling him. He hadn't heard a peep from Tegan since he asked for the meet. If they did not give him a location, he'd simply drop by uninvited, he'd crash right through the front gates of San Simeon and make a dramatic entrance to say the least. Nelson had numbers, large numbers in fact. Not quiet the numbers of San Simeon reaching into the high 90's or low 100's, but he was upwards of 80 men with boots on the ground. Only, they didn't all stay in one spot. No, he had them out searching, scavenging, finding new groups to bring under his control. His methods were simple, but effective. He would meet with a leader of a group. Someone he knew how power in his neck of the woods. He would demand that her people worked for him now. If they refused, which they often did; he would take the leader. Torture them and send them back as a walker with a video camera in their hands. On the tape would be the slow torture and death of the leader of said group. He would have his associate Talon, drop off the body and after a few days were giving for mourning and griefe he would approach again, and speak with whoever stepped up in their place. It wasn't about stealing supplies, or resources, it wasn't about land. It was about authority and control. Nelson believed that he was the man who would fix the world. He believed that by only sparing the smartest people from each group he took, that he would build an army of intelligent like minded individuals and that they would find a cure for the walker infection. This, he truly believed as fact. Nelson crossed his arms and watched as the last door was closed on the box trucks, they were ready to move out. To head towards San Simeon. Nelson had radio'ed on his own frequency that all of his men were to report back, now he was bringing an army to meet with Tegan. A display of dominance that most assuredly would be taken as a threat. That didn't matter. What mattered was that she agreed to his terms. Nelson had a whole bag of nasty tricks and the trucks were only one of them.
Nelson raised his radio and changed it back to Tegan's frequency.
Nelson: Tegan? Are you there? *It had been at least twenty minutes since he first tried to contact her.* Tegan. I'm on my way to San Simeon now. I'll see you soon.
Nelson said with a smile and cut off his radio. He was going to drive right up to the base and let himself in if he didn't see someone at the gate to let him in. Nelson looked up at the bright sky. It was a beautiful day to come to ....... An understanding.

"So what do you think, Bam?" Travis asked as they worked on getting ready to head back out once more, this time to meet some mysterious person from the area who might or might not be hostile to San Simeon and the Scouts. It'd been a quick trip out for Bam's Scout Team 4 but now they had to make another quick turnaround and time was of the essence.
"About going back out there, Travis?" Bam said. "If I were the Tegster, I'd tell this Nelson fella' to go jump in a fucking lake, but I'm not the boss..." Pausing to look at one of his other team members, Bam asked, "What? You think the Boss should've said that?"
"I would've," Jolene replied, adding, "Bam, we still don't know a lot about this area. I mean, this ain't New York with its' grid system and everything; this is California, the land of big sky, big dreams...big everything. We gotta' keep our eyes on a fuckin' swivel, alright? If the Boss doesn't trust what's out there, we shouldn't either."
"Good point," Bam said, pausing as one of the other team leaders walked by, geared up and ready to go. "Pontius, what's up?"
"Me and the Climbers' are gonna' scale the South Ridge along the access road, watch for threats coming from the PCH up," Chris Pontius said. Leader of Scout Team 5, Pontius and his team were known collectively as "the Suicide Climbers" for their penchant of climbing anything imaginable - and succeeding at it. Back in NYC, it'd been his team to enter Yankee Stadium first, scaling the outside facade and gaining access in. All of his team were qualified climbers and had the gear to prove it: climbing ropes, pitons, carabineers, plus their weapons and rucksacks. "Any news on this supposed meeting?" he continued.
"Your guess is as good as mine," Bam replied, looking over at Tegan, who was standing next to Julie, deep in conversation by the looks of it. "Just get your asses up that ridge, give us cover from above; got the weapons?"
"Yeah, Bassich has got Big Mama with him and he's itchin' to use it," Pontius said, pointing towards one of his climbers, who was carrying a SASR .50 caliber rifle and despite being in his early 60's, could outrun most of the other Scouts in a flash. "We better get up that ridge now...see you on the dark side, Bam," he added, fist-bumping with Bam before pointing towards the ridge and telling his Climbers to get going. Get up that damn ridge and cover our asses, Bam whispered, adding a short prayer of hope to the end of his words....

Tegan? Are you there? *It had been at least twenty minutes since he first tried to contact her.* Tegan. I'm on my way to San Simeon now. I'll see you soon. The radio went off once more with Nelson's voice, now sounding more malevolent than friendly; holding the radio, Tegan thought carefully about her next words. Keying the mic, she spoke carefully, her words parsed. "Nelson, be at the airfield...on one condition: you and you alone. You're on our ground, not yours...and don't give me any of that 'oh poor me' bullshit, okay? Anything happens and my people will tear and your to pieces, understood? See you at the airfield," slamming the radio down on the Tundra.
Looking around, she keyed the radio once more. "Kern, this is Tegan; I need to speak you ASAP....in private, understood?"
Looking around, Jason had spotted a truck roaring up to them as a man came out, stating that he was there to pick up all Eight people from the Helicopters. Raising an eye brow, he looked at his people and said to them. "Looks like most of us are going to be Standing on the bed. Climb in and hang on tight. Wolverine, you and me will hang off the sides." Everyone got to work as they all Climbed in like Sardines in a Can. Mean while Jason and Wolverine hung off the sides. As they were starting to move, he heard Tamara over the head set telling him that he needed to hurry his pace since they needed to talk. Nodding his head a bit, he leaned his head down and said. "Step on it. We don't have much time." And like a gentleman, he put the truck through it's paces and climbed up through the access road. The truck tore up the path to the castle. Once they reached it, the truck slowed down to a halt as Jason jumped off running. His feet his the ground as he had to balance himself as he made contact.
Running over to Tegan as she was heading for the 'Van', he stopped by it and waved a bit trying to catch his breath. Once the truck had stopped, one of the guys from Wolverine's crew jumped off and landed on the ground saying, "Land!" Shaking his head, Jason stiffened himself up as Wolverine was getting the Recon teams ready to give protection from afar and be ready for a snatch and grab. "Whats up Tegan? What you need?" Jon was already in position and was keeping an eye over everything as he had his Ghillie Suit on him and was painted up again. He was further away from Pontius as he radioed in quietly. "The Pathfinder Preacher here. I am in position, ready to guide my flock through the Valley of Shadow and Death. For I am your Shepard through these dark times. I fear no Death for I am The Biggest baddest Mother Fucker in the Valley. Ooooh Raaaah!" Jason smiled as he pushed in his head set and said. "Amen, Preacher."
Nelson and his men left from there location and proceeded to San Simeon. When they got a half mile out the other vehicles broke off, hung back. Nelson kept driving onward however. He was driving in a limegreen voltswagon beetle. As he drove he could see the the gates of San Simeon. Nelson waited at the gates patiently. He knew this was it. This was it this was the..... Nelson began to notice things. He noticed way people were scrambling about. No one had noticed him at the gate yet so he just watched. He saw Tegan leaning against a truck and Julie was near by with a..... A baby. That is interesting indeed. Tegan and Julie have a baby. How wonderful. Nelson smiled as he felt himself smiling. Suddenly the gates were opening. Nelson took the opportunity to drive right on in. A half mile or so away he had his backup if needed and he had a radio to get ahold of them, should he need to. He wanted to first see how receptive Tegan was to the little meeting. Nelson drove right up to Tegan, no worries in the world. He parked the car and got out stretching a bit and looking around at all the angry surprised faced he simply smiled.
Nelson: This a bad time?
Nelson said coyly. The smile never leaving his lips. As his tomahawk dangled at his waste. Nelson didn't carry a gun, he didn't believe in them. He drove into the heavily armed base with only his tomahawk and a few choice words for one Tegan Archer-Lyell.

Watching as Kern walked over and asked her what was up, Tegan said, "Once more into the breach....listen, anything goes south or it looks like I'm about to go down, you take command; button this place up tight like a rock and make Nelson earn his takings, piece by piece and drop by drop of Scouts' blood, understood?'
Before he could answer, Tegan noticed a vehicle had pulled up to the gates of San Simeon, just sitting there; making sure her weapons were at the ready, she whispered, "Looks like someone jumped the gun," unslinging her rifle as someone - Nelson, she presumed - got out of the vehicle, opened the gate - well, that was rude of him, the motherfucker, she thought - and drove over near to them, climbing out of the vehicle - a VW Beetle by the looks of it - and said, This a bad time?
"Yeah," Tegan said, charging a round into her rifle and waiting as several dozen other Scouts and other persons did likewise, "because I don't know where you come from, but where I come from, you don't drive onto someone's property without permission and neither myself nor Sarah," glancing over at her sister, who was aiming her Sig-Sauer at the man, "gave you permission. Now park your scrawny ass at the gate or I'll drop you right here, right now, understood?" pointing her rifle at Nelson to emphasize the point. As she stood there looking at the man, she whispered to both Kern and Sarah, "He ain't taking this place, I can goddamn the both of you that," tapping her radio mic several times in a pre-arranged signal so that her deployed Scouts would close in on the gate, blocking Nelson from escaping back down the access road. "Now, let's go see what he wants, shall we?"
Post by Benny Fleetfoot on Nov 26, 2016 18:56:35 GMT -5
Nelson stood there as Tegan started walking towards him. Before she could get more than a few feet however, Buster was crashing through the front gates of San Simeon in an unfamiliar car. Buster jerked the wheel as he went barreling through the gate and stopped just short of everyone. A cloud of dirt and dust permeated in the air. The door swung open and Buster all but fell out of it, Stumbling to the ground and scrambling back to his feet. He seemed to be in a panic. He ran around the car while screaming at everyone who was standing there.
Buster: Someone help me! The kid's hurt!
The onlookers looked on with confusion. Julie, who was holding Tyler still had a clear view of the passenger resting her head against the window. It was Bailey! Julie handed Tyler off to someone nearby. It was Ali McKenna, who had come down for the meeting with the mysterious voice on the radio. Ali took Tyler and watched as Julie ran towards the car. About the time she got there Buster was opening the driver's side door.
Julie: BAILEY!? BAILEY!!!!!!!
Julie was in full panic. There were streaks of dried blood under her nose and she seemed to have trouble breathing as Buster threw her arm over his shoulder and gently hauled her out of the car. A little ways away Nelson watched the scene unfold with great interest and genuine surprise. He was the reason Bailey was so messed up. He slammed a heavy door on the ribs several times breaking a few. When Bailey flipped him off he reached down in spite and broke two of her fingers, the middle one included. Her nose was broken from the punch to the face and she had a slight concussion from Nelson slamming her head into the counter. Nelson watched as Buster dragged her from the car and then Nelson's eyes locked with Buster's. Buster's spine went cold. What was Nelson doing here?
Julie: OH MY GOD! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?
Nelson leaned on the roof of his VW Bug. His mouth was hanging open and he had a look of feigned worry and concern on his face. Buster didn't dare tell them that Nelson did this. Nelson's people would never stop hunting them. Though, he did think about it. Dam he wanted to shout it. THAT PRICK DID THIS! BUT HE DIDN'T. He didn't say that. Instead he turned to Julie who was grabbing the other arm of the unconscious Bailey.
Buster: I was out, had to clear my head and I saw Bailey and Taylor get jumped by these assholes. *Buster paused. He was making shit up, but he was a good liar. He had lied all of his life.* Taylor got shot trying to save the kid here. I brought her back, had to stash Taylor. I couldn't move her. I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR HER AND I NEED A MEDIC TO COME WITH ME.
Julie: What were they doing outside of San Simeon?
Julie's eyes burned into Buster's. She was trying to read his face, Julie was good at spotting liars, but she was so worried about Bailey his deception had gone unnoticed. Julie's heart was breaking. Bailey was like her own flesh and blood. They had been through so much together. And Julie had promised Bailey that she would never let anything happen to her. Julie had let her down. Another scout ran over and helped Julie carry Bailey. Buster stood there trying to answer her question, but Nelson cut him off.
Buster: I .....
Nelson: You said your friend was hurt? Where is she? I'll go get her. You look pretty roughed up yourself, you need to get checked out. I'll go get her and bring her back safe and sound.
Buster was burning up. He tried his hardest to not let the fear and anger show on his face. Nelson was the reason she was half dead locked in a closet in the first place. Like hell he'd tell him where Taylor was. Nelson wanted to find her, because she still had information he needed. Information he was desperate for, but less desperate now that he was here and could see the sizable force of this group for himself. Still, there was no way to know for sure just how many people were here. He seriously doubted that EVERYONE came to greet him, his arrival was rather sudden.
Buster:.....................
Nelson: You said she was hurt right? Tell me so I can save her.
Buster: I'm going myself! *Buster started to leave and Julie stopped him.*
Julie: No! You can't! I need'cha to tell me everythang that happened to her! I need'ta know whats wrong with her so we can fix it! Tell'em and let'em go fetch her. *Julie looked at Nelson.* You brang her back, yah hear? You brang her back and then we'll talk. That's final.
Buster looked at Julie and then to Nelson. He knew that he couldn't explain, couldn't tell them that Nelson had kidnapped him, forced Taylor to become a spy for him. Couldn't tell them that Taylor had kidnapped Bailey and delievered her to Nelson on a platter as a barginning chip for this meet. And that at the last moment she had a change of heart and risked her life to save Bailey and Buster. So with his head hung, and looking at the dirt Buster spoke defeated. He knew Nelson couldn't kill her, not if he wanted to earn anyone's trust, but he knew that Taylor would be scared. Scared shitless when the face that returned for her was Nelson and not Buster.
Buster: She's in a liquor store a few miles south of here. "Jack's Liquors and Wines."
Nelson smiled.
Nelson: Well, you all tend to the girl, I will make sure your friend gets back in one piece. He said as he started to get back into his car.
Post by Sarah "Snow Flower" Lyell-Haru on Nov 26, 2016 23:14:34 GMT -5
In and amidst all the confusion and chaos that suddenly erupted with the arrival of several more people - all of them, Sarah mused, likely from Tamara's group - to the front steps of San Simeon, Sarha holstered her Sig-Sauer and walked right over to Nelson, months of fury and anger wanting to boil over....instead, she looked right at him with cold, clipped eyes and a steely gaze. "Nelson, your people have been chasing me and mine for months...it ends now."
Holding up a hand to silence anyone who might try to object, Sarah continued. "Come with me...come with me right now; we'll grab a cup of coffee and we'll talk. No one's ever died talking and we ain't about to start now..."
"Sarah," Tegan tried to interject, only to be interrupted by Sarah, who said, "Tamara, for once in your life, shut the fuck up. We're not in New York, we're in California; this is my house and there will be no violence here!" Her voice could've cut through a foot of armor-plate steel; for a few moments, Tegan will dumb-founded and stepped back in shock as Sarah went on. "Nelson, you and I - and a couple of witnesses so that nothing happens - are going to go get something to drink and then we are going to talk. This chasing of my people around this part of California ends now; this country's big enough for us if we simply talk out our difference and work together. You have your interests and plans and I have mine; there ain't no reason..."
"Sarah..."
"Tamara, shut up! I'm not finished yet!" Sarah said once more, this time with more energy and force to her words. "Now, you've barged in on us, Nelson, and that upsets me....but I think you're a reasonable person, despite all the horror stories and things me and mine have encounters; now, if you'd come with me, we're going to sit down and discuss a few things; Tamara, you're more than welcome to sit and watch...same goes for your people. Nelson," Sarah said, pointing towards the ground-floor kitchen entrance as if to say, "Move it!" but without words....
Post by Masumi Lyell-Haru on Nov 27, 2016 8:32:51 GMT -5
Masumi took two plates down and began to prep them with the Egg's and Bacon. Both Jenna and Parker were gone by this point. Turning off the stove, she took the plates to either side of the Island counter in the middle of the room that had chairs that was used as a make shift table. The Japanese Transgender woman was about to sit down when she heard a disturbance over the radio, then back outside. Reaching behind her, she brought her SMG around to the front of her and pulled back the receiver to see that she had a round in the chamber. Gently sliding it back into it's position before, she was starting to make her way to the door of the Kitchen when hell just erupted outside of the Castle. Rushing outside of the kitchen, she hurried herself to a nearby window that looked out at everyone who had gathered around a man that came in to the area in a Rather Ugly Car. Frowning in disgust a bit, she felt like looking at the noxious Green of the junky looking Beetle was going to make her spew up her stomach. Shaking the feeling and thoughts of the car off her mind, her ears twitched and her eyes widened a bit when she heard her Beloved Sarah, a person who rarely showed any signs of anger flipped out on Tamara. Bringing her left hand to her mouth as she stood there in silence.
Backing away from the window as Sarah pointed towards the Kitchen area from outside, she didn't want to be on the receiving end of the Anger that she had burning inside of her. Slowly, Masumi backed up back into the Kitchen area as she just realized that she was going to be with Sarah and Nelson (And whoever else is going to be inside the Kitchen for this Sit down). Going over to the coffee pot, she began to make a fresh pot before they get a moving into this meeting. 'Whats a meeting without coffee?' She thought to herself as she stayed silent for the most part. UMP .45 resting on her stomach as she watched the Coffee maker dripping and then pouring into the Pot. It beeped a couple of times to show it was done and ready. Pulling out of the cupboard above it a bunch (Around five or six) mugs since she doesn't know who all is going to be inside the kitchen. Putting Creamer and sugar into her's and Sarah's Mugs, she prepped they'res first and set Sarah's by her plate on one end. Grabbing the pot, she just poured Coffee into two more mugs and set one by the other plate which was supposed to be her's, but lost her urge for food. Sliding the pot back into the maker, she brought over the Creamer and Sugar onto the table and picked her mug up again and sipped it. Masumi sighed to herself as the feeling it was going to be a long day came to mind. Pulling a chair over, she sat by Sarah's side when she and her 'Guest' would arrive.
Ali watched everything unfolding and decided to hand off Tyler to one of the other scouts. She stepped forward when it seemed as if this Nelson fellow wasn't going to be the one going to go after Taylor. Instead he was being invited inside. Ali wanted to help, this group had taken her in after her park burned to ashes and he hadn't done much, except sit on the sidelines and not contribute. That wasn't who she was, she was a leader, she needed to prove that she deserved to be here. Ali stepped forward after one of the scouts took Tyler from her arms. Ali looked at Buster, who was being escorted in for medical attention.
Ali: You said Jack's Liquors and Wines, due south? Did she barricade the door?
Buster looked up at Ali. His eyes were sad, deflated creatures in his skull.
Buster: Nah, * He said smiling a bit. At least this chick wasn't Nelson, Buster would rather anyone but Nelson go get Taylor; though he wished he could go himself.* Should be good to go right on inside.
Ace: Aye. I'm going too!
Ace said stepping up out of no where. Ace didn't really particularly like Buster, but he liked Taylor after their little excursion in the kitchen. Ace remembered fucking her brains out and she loved it. He was a rockstar! Ace smiled at Buster, knowing that Taylor was his girlfriend and that he had fucked her. He didn't really. He had gotten drunk with her in the kitchen while Taylor questioned him, squeezing information out of him for Nelson, while Ace drunkenly licked her chest and groped her. In the end he got his pants down around his ankles and fell asleep. She was sitting on the counter and he had slumped over; face buried in her cleavage and just drooled heavy streams down those glorious mountains. But in Ace's mind. They went all the way from what he remembered.
Ace: The poor lass is gonna medical attention.
Buster nodded as he was escorted inside. Julie would take Bailey for medical treatment and not move from her side until she woke up. Julie would miss the meeting. Nelson, who had been listening to the group's radio trasmissions since the moment Tegan gave them her frequency, knew about the helicopters. He walked over from his bug up to Buster. He stuck out his hand to shake Busters, and greeted him with a warm endearing hug. And said loud enough for everyone to hear.
Nelson: It's going to be ok, they'll get your friend. We need to band together, both of our groups or no one will be safe.
When Nelson went in for the hug, he whispered in Buster's ear so only Buster could hear him.
Nelson: This group has helicopters, I want you to blow them up for me.
After he released Buster from his handshake and hug he smiled at him. Knowing that he had gave Buster a secret dangerous task and that Buster would comply. Just because Taylor was being picked up, didn't mean he couldn't radio his people to get to her first since he know knew the location. Who's to say that Ali and Ace would even make it back alive from their rescue mission. After all. The world is a scary dangerous place.
Nelson followed Sara inside, as Julie took Bailey inside for treatment. Buster reluctantly went inside for treatment of his own as Ali and Ace got inside a car to go find Taylor.

Standing quiet and frankly shocked at her sister's words, it was all Tegan could do to not rip into Sarah over it; instead, as Sarah finished talking and as even more people - thankfully, mostly my own, she thought - arrived and both Sarah and Nelson walked inside the Main Castle, she motioned for both Kern and Bam. Leaning over so that no one could hear her, she said, "Kern, Bam...I want patrols out to the Pacific Coast Highway; they're to call in every half-hour, on the hour, no matter what they see or don't see. Second, I want everything of value we have guarded and locked down tight; no one - not even our people - go near our parked equipment without one of us giving explicit permission," pausing for a moment; though they'd been too far away to hear whatever was said between Nelson and Buster, things were still too tense for her - and the Scouts - to let their guard down. "Finally, I want those vehicles," pointing to Nelson's Beetle and the one Buster had driven onto the property, "guarded; no one goes near them, from either us, Sarah's group or Nelson until that man leaves. Understood?"

The sound of the gates being crashed open, a vehicle stopping and then the subsequent yelling of several people wasn't without onlookers. Bree was napping on her desk when she heard the commotion, and jolted up to her feet to look out the window. She could barely hear what was being said, and she hated it. With a sigh, she closed the window and walked out of the room, her prepped bag of scientific tools of what she had. She wanted to do some field work, research on the undead wasn't going to do itself, was it? She figured with the increased guard in the area, she should be able to get specimens a whole lot more easily.
Minutes later, she made her way out of the building towards the group of people, people from her group, and Tegan's group...and some she didn't recognize. Her dark gaze shifted inquisitively amongst the others before walking up to Sarah but didn't speak. Something about the figurative atmosphere just made her tense, the kind of atmosphere where blood is boiling and guns are a hair's width away from blowing...did she even want to speak at this point?

Standing close to her as he leaned against the Van so that they could speak in private. Tegan was close to him as she said to him. "Once more into the breach....listen, anything goes south or it looks like I'm about to go down, you take command; button this place up tight like a rock and make Nelson earn his takings, piece by piece and drop by drop of Scouts' blood, understood?" Nodding his head, he was about to say something when someone decided to drive on up in an Ugly ass VW Beetle. The 6' tall pilot didn't know who it was, but it seemed that Tamara did by how she reacted with her rifle and her voice.
Pushing himself off, he flicked the safety off on his rifle with his thumb and did the same thing for his Glock .357 Sig caliber handgun. Stepping in close to Tamara, he slid himself in between her and the man named Nelson. He was about to say something when out of the blue, Sarah, Tamara's Sister chimed in. He grunted as he seemed that he couldn't get a word in either way. So he just stood there with the rest of the Scouts starting to form up around with they're weapons at the ready. But with what was about to happen, he wasn't expecting this from the sweet and loving sister that Tamara had explained.
Nelson," Sarah said, pointing towards the ground-floor kitchen entrance as if to say, "Move it!" but without words.
He was sure he wasn't the only one that was shocked at how Tamara was talked to by her twin sister. His eyes looked from one person to the other. But, he saw Buster driving right up to everyone with Bailey who seemed to have seen better days. Whistling sharply, he pointed at Buster's vehicle and at the Gate that was now damaged. Wolverine took four people and ran down to the gate where they set up into firing position's to make sure that no one else was going to get in without them taking heavy weapons fire. A vehicle with Ali and Ace drove off to go find the missing person named Taylor. Jason narrowed his eyes as he watched Nelson talk to Buster then brought it in for a hug. The one known as Viking didn't like the feeling he was getting off this man. He was way to...Calm. His right eye in the corner picked up movement and when he looked, he saw Tamara motioned for both Kern and Bam.
Jason nodded his head as he looked across the area. "Yeah, I get the drift Tigress. I'll have Wolverine and most of Recon 2's team go to the Highway to cover one side of the Road so that Bam can assign some of his men for the other side to guard. I'll then have the rest of my Recon team to watch over the Vehicles. Might even have them pushed and parked down to the gate itself. Bam, if you can find someone to find Jon, tell him to keep a Keen eye over the Helicopters and the Airplane, don't want anyone getting any funny ideas while there isn't anyone looking. And TamTam...let your Sister do her thing. You've done so much already. It's time to pass the Reigns to someone else....and don't try to give me the Death speech. You and I both know that you'll live longer then I. Ok Kiddies, lets get to work. Assholes and Elbows, double time it." Rushing over to his different team's, he gave the orders and even helped his Recon Team 1 members move the two vehicles to the opened gate and made a make shift barricade. Going from vehicle to vehicle, he pulled out the keys from the ignitions and slid them into his Bullet proof vest pocket. Wolverine and Recon team 2 ran for the PCH and put themselves across the right side from the entrance in a Firing position behind wrecked cars and trucks. Once they were set up, he heard three chirps over the Radio. Looking over at Tegan, he gave her a thumbs up.

I have seen a lot of stuff the past three years, Bam thought, watching Tegan essentially get dressed down by her sister Sarah, but I have never seen someone say to Tegan what that woman just said to her....indeed, it took Kern talking to him to snap him out of his shocked reverie...

After a few moments, Bam snapped back to reality and said, "Roger that," keying the mic on his radio. "Preacher, this is Bam...if you can hear me," pausing as he climbed up on top of one of the Tundras so that he could get better radio reception, "the Viking wants you to keep an eye on our aircraft. How copy, over?"
Climbing back down, he keyed the mic once more. "England, I need you and your team to assemble up here at the Main Castle; we're heading outside the wire," adding, "and bring your shovels; we're digging some guard spots out there, so roll up your sleeves, everyone." Looking over at Kern, Bam smiled and said, "Whether or not Tegan," pointing towards their boss, who appeared to be stewing over her sister's words from earlier, "or her sister approves, we're setting up guard stations down at the airfield and where the access road hits the PCH. Just make sure to let us know when its' time to eat 'cause we'll probably be starving when we get back up here, alright?" turning to walk away so he could gather his gear and weapons and be ready to head out in a little bit...

For what seemed like forever, Tegan stewed over her sister's words to her, thinking, And people say I'm the angry one, shaking her head in disbelief until Sarah and Nelson walked inside San Simeon and Kern could talk to her about everything that needed to be done in the meantime... "Yeah, I get the drift Tigress. I'll have Wolverine and most of Recon 2's team go to the Highway to cover one side of the Road so that Bam can assign some of his men for the other side to guard. Shaking her head and smiling, Tegan nodded; sometimes, she needed a steady hand to help guide the Scouts along and Jason Kern was just that; it was why he was the Scouts' second-in-command. "Alright," staring back at the side entrance for some time, "I just hope Sarah knows what the hell she's doing."
Walking over to the younger woman, Stephanie whistled softly and held out her hand in the manner of a friendly handshake. "I saw you standing over here and wondered what was going," she said, "so I thought I'd come over and say hello...I'm Stephanie. And you are?" she asked the younger woman.
