The bus trip that she had chosen got her as far as a town in texas. Her family had chosen to not support her choice to leave town and they refused to help her with anything. Ava's first stop was the local hotel where she rented a room for a few days bfre checking out a bar that had been on her list to check out. They had been rumored to have girls that would dance on the bar and what not. She wasnt disapointed and after speakingto the manager she got herself a job a a bartender for the extent of her stay. She enjoyed her night at the bar and found some random stranger to take home that night when she finally turned in. It felt nice to finally be away from the pressures at family even though it was lonely waking up alone in a hotel room.
Later that night after spending the time to get ready she found herself on the first shift at the bar. There were rulesof not bring boyfriends in the bar and avoiding dating the customers which was fine becauhe didnt plan to stay in town more than a week or so. She just needed enough money saved to get her further towards hollywood. The shift went by great and it was a fun job to have sine she didnt know anyone and didnt have to worry about rumors in a small town in the bayou. As she was pouring drinksher eyes fell on a tall handsome stranger that came in with what she assumed were co workers. When tey approached the bar she poured a few shots of jack and slid them to the man and his friends. "These are on me hunny while you wait."
The Devil went down to Georgia. He was lookin' for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind. He was willing to make a deal
When he came across this young man sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot.
And the Devil jumped upon a hickory stump and said "Boy, let me tell you what."
"I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player, too.
And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you.
Now you play a pretty good fiddle, boy, but give the Devil his due.
I'll bet a fiddle of gold against your soul 'cause I think I'm better than you."
Johnny, rosin up your bow and play your fiddle hard.
'Cause Hell's broke loose in Georgia and the Devil deals the cards.
And if you win you get this shiny fiddle made of gold,
But if you lose the devil gets your soul.
That was when music came on ad she smirked before climbing onto the bar. Dancing and laughing with the other girls hey soaked each other in water and even sprayed the crowd. Once the song was over she slid down off the bar and dried her hair with a towel before moving back to the bar to the man and his buddies. "So what can I get for you boys tonight?" Ave said over all the noise in the bar.
