As Regan walked off in a huff, his mind racing with rage. He looked back to see her one last time. As she climbed in the jeep and drove off. He couldn't believe it. What had happened. How it happened. But it happened. And it's best to move on. That's what he kept telling himself as he continued walking along the side of the road. Not thinking of the future, but the past. The past before the dead began to roam the earth. The past that made him smile. A happy life for a happy man who was doing what he loved with the people he loved.
It was all head had left to hold onto. All he wanted to hold onto. So he thought. As a few hours went by, it began to rain, and he found himself sitting on a bench at a rusted park, thinking about her. Ivy. Did she have that much impact on him?

It's been a couple days since the split and Regan's mind has been separated in two sides. I need Ivy. I want Ivy. A civil war brewing in his head, he hadn't gotten over it and has accepted the fact that she meant a lot to him. Replaying those final words in his head had driven him to hours of silence. "Goodbye Regan...". Those simple words had so much power. Drifting around in his skull. He was a mess.
Ivy and Regan was a one of a kind couple. They had nothing in common at first. It was two dark minded people meeting for the first time in somebody elses war. They were pawns. Pawns her united unintentionally and fate has brought them close with one another. He didn't think he would ever feel wanted by somebody else again. Not in that sense. The sense that somebody trusted him enough to sit there...and...open up to him. That wasn't a feeling he figured he'd ever feel again when the shit hit the fan. But he felt it. That and more when he was with Ivy. He found himself, risking his life for her. Maybe at first he was too hard headed and stubborn to admit that even to himself. Admit that he'd be willing to lay his life down for her. Because before Ivy, he wasn't willing to die for anyone. He had already lost everybody he cared about. He wasn't gonna fall for a stranger and become weak. That's what he called it. Those feelings he had....he was weak. So when the fight broke out, that's the first thing that came to mind. He ignored his true feelings and lost the one person on the planet that he actually cared about. And that, that's why he now sits in the deepest corner of this dark library, beating himself up.

Two more days have gone by and Regan was back out on the street. He had traveled to a small town by the name of "Rikersberg". He found a working vehicle, a Hostess Truck. Kind of an eye sore, but he needed a better way of travel, and it was full of Twinkies and Ding Dongs. Not that he was crazy about sweets, but food is food when you're fighting everyday to survive.
Driving through the town, which isn't very big, only being two streets wide and 2 miles long, he sees very few walkers. Not even a hand full. So he doesn't waste the bullets. However, something does catch his eye. Just not a part of the town. As he reaches the end, he looks over the trees, and way out in the distance, he sees one of the towers from the power planet. And that, immediately drives his mind back to Ivy. Thinking about how devastated she was when they came back to their entire army beaten. Thinking of that look in her eyes as she wasted two of the men who helped takeover their base. And he couldn't help but to think, that if those guys hadn't of shown up and taken what was theirs, then Ivy would still be with him. That thought....that one thought stuck. Until finally his mind was made up. He looked over at his sniper rifle before peeling off onto the street.

The men were working hard on making the plant a sturdy stronghold. Patches up holes in the fence, filling utility buildings with their loot, and just doing whatever they can to contribute. The ring leader, a man that goes by the name of "Cap" stands in the center of the yard with a clipboard, handing out assignments and going over spots on the map to raid.
Cap: "Leo and Kurt, you two will be heading east tonight to check out that hardware store by the lake. Russo, you'll be going it alone at that farm, just take what you need, and if anybody's there, kill them.
Russo: Yessir. Alrighty maybe we should discuss lunch portions. Yesterday was kind of hectic since...
Before he can finish his sentence, a bullet flies through his skull, blood splattering on caps face. His eyes widened as the next one to fall was Leo, who gets it dead in the center of his forehead.
Cap: What the hell....take cover!
As Cap barks the order, he realizes, that some of his men were already dead before Russo. It had happened quick and silent. Everyone scrambles to take cover. All while the assailant stays hidden. On top of his Hostess truck. Taking shot after shot at those who aren't very great at taking cover. Mostly because nobody knows where the shots are coming from because they happen so fast. They could take the time to investigate, but they don't really have the time as the shots keep on coming, in a very fast pace. Regan is dead set on wiping the place.
Kurt: Cap! Where's it coming from??? Is it one of our guys??
Cap looks down at him from the stairs.
Cap: No it's a sniper, far off, help me locate him quick!
Kurt looks around, and in the distance, he sees it. The hostess truck, with the black hooded man laying on the top. But, before he speaks up, a bullet hits him in the eye, killing him instantly. Cap looks paranoid, but sets it aside to find the mystery shooter. After a few more of his men falls, he finds him.
Cap: HE'S ON THAT HILL OVER THERE! ON THE TRUCK! OPEN FIRE! TED GET THOSE THAT ARE HIDING IN THE BUILDINGS TO COME OUT AND HELP!
Regan smiled. Almost as if him being spotted was the second part of his plan. And it was. With bullets flying his way, he focuses his eye on the prize, and shoots once again. This time the bullet not seeking a warm body. But in the far side of the plant, the back of a truck being a very large gasoline tank. It breaks through but doesn't ignite. He goes for it again, again no luck. But the third times a charm as it causes a huge explosion, only harming some of those men, but blowing the fence open.
This whole time, there were walkers in the field behind the power plant. They just weren't a threat due to the fence. But with the fence gone, the walkers came pouring in, some even lit up with flames. Now with all the men in one bunch, they are easier targets for the dead who sneaks up on them and begin their feast.
Suddenly the rate of bullets flying at Regan lowered as the main focus was within the plant. This gave Regan an easier time finishing off the rest. Shot after shot, the army got smaller and smaller until the only sight was flames and death. She'd be proud... He thought as he stood up and climbed down from the truck.
Feeling accomplished, Regan climbed in the drivers seat and laid his hit barreled sniper down on the seat. However, as he reaches for the door, to close it, a man pulls him out of the truck and swings on him. His reflexes kick in and dodge the attack, causing the punch to bust his window. He retaliates with a punch of his own, to the mans jaw.
Cap: You think you can just get away with your little stunt? Huh you little cunt!?
Cap pulls his gun out of his jacket, but Regan doesn't wait for him to pull the trigger and grabs his arms before delivering a strong knee to the gut. Cap tries to overpower him, tackling him off the road and down the hill. Both men roll to the bottom, Cap losing his pistol in the process. Regan gets up first and kicks the man in the side. His mind snapping and his vision turning red. This type of battle is different than the sniper frenzy. He gets to have his face engraved in the mans mind before killing him. Letting him know who he fucked with.
Regan drops a knee to the guys chest and pins him to the ground before unloading with left and rights. Very strong blows. Slowly drawing more and more blood. Breaking his nose, cracking open his forehead and busting his teeth out of his mouth. Regan doesn't let up. The image of Ivy driving off is the only thing driving this beat down at this point. He's too far gone, and so is Cap as his life finally drifts off. Regan, stopping the attack to look at his unrecognizable face. Then to his bloodied knuckles. "Ivy...".

With the flames now in the distance, in his review mirror, Regan has a new goal in mind. He doesn't care how long it takes, how far he's to go, or how many lives he has to take, he will find Ivy. He loves her. And he knows that now after risking everything to avenge their army. He's finally come in peace with that. The idea of him loving another human being. A woman. Ivy completes him. She never changed him, just allowed him to look past the darkness and discover a heart.........
