Hannah woke up after hearing a young boys scream echoing in her head before a gun shot. It was a nightmare. Gasping for air, she looked around the sleeper and then looked at the window. It was still dark out. Breathing heavily, she looked over to her right and saw the outline of her wire, Dana. Smiling a bit as Hannah saw she was still asleep. Leaning over, she would kiss her cheek lightly and gently. Crawling towards the edge of the bed, she stood up in her boxers and bra. Leaning into the front of the cab, she turned the key slightly and looked at the radio. 4:58 AM. 'Damn, we've been asleep for almost a whole day. Fuck, well...we needed it.' She thought to herself. Turning back around and walking into the sleeper, she looked around. Not tired anymore, she placed her hands on her hips and tapped her index finger on her hip thinking on what she could do. Grabbing her clean clothing, she leaned against the one wall and slid on her socks, then her pants and then her black beater. As she was sliding her belt on, she would begin to slide her different holster and sword onto it as she gotten herself ready. Grabbing her thigh holster, she strapped it to her right thigh. Her throwing axes tucked behind her on her belt. Reaching over for her sleeveless hooded trench coat, she stepped to the front of the cab. Pulling the heavy spacer door closed to the sleeper, she would sit down in the driver seat. Reaching down to the floor, she grabbed her wrist sheath and strapped it on around right wrist. Also, she reached down and grabbed a pad of paper and a pen. Turning on the over head light, she began to write a message for Dana when she woke up later on.
"My dearest Wife Dana,
I woke up from a nightmare. You are still asleep as I'm writing this. You look so beautiful laying on the bed with me. Hard for me not to look over you and admire everything of you. I love you Dana. I will be right back, I'm going to take a walk around. Don't worry my love, I'll be back. I'm armed to the teeth like usually. See you when I get back babe.
Love, Hannah. Your Wife forever."
Setting it down on the council angled a bit so it wouldn't slide off. Turning off the light and turning the key so it's fully off again, she opened the door and slipped out. Gently closing the door without making Dana wake up, she hopped down and began to walk. With her shades and mask inside her pocket of the trencher, her path was aimed for the bridge. Digging into her other pocket, she pulled out her riding gloves and slide them over her hands. Upon walking up to the bridge, she saw that Bam was on guard duty who was now looking at her. Watching him stepping out of the guard building. "Whats up Hannah?" Smiling at him, she would reply to him. "Can't sleep right now. So I'm going to take a quick stroll around and get some fresh air. Hell, might even find something worth bringing back. Why are you out here BamBam?" His expression went from pleasant to annoyed quickly. "You'r second in command David kept me up through out the night with him banging the fuck out of somebody. Them screaming like monsters up there. They finally stopped about an hour or so ago." Laughing a bit, Hannah shook her head as she would say as she was starting to walk onto the bridge. "Well it's better then him groaning on and on about how he can't get laid with them beef cakes he has for a chest. I'll be back and don't wake Dana! She had a fun night as well...hehehe" She walked with the full length of her stride that her legs would give her. Raising the hood up, she crossed the bridge after a bit of walking and saw the fencing and make shift wall that Derick was helping them craft. It would help greatly to keep any walkers out of the island. Going right, she would follow the river as she walked. The full moon still lit the ground for a bit longer. With a constant stride of her walk, she was making good ground as she went on. It was peaceful this morning. No sounds of the dead, but the sounds of the moving river was what it made it Peaceful. Peace and zen, and all that good happy shit. Her hands rested on the shotgun handle and the hilt of her sword. Slowly, the sun began to rise and she stopped to look at it for a moment. Sliding on her shades, she just stood there and thought how far did she walk. Looking back, she had seen that the island was now small in the distance. Hannah had been walking a long distance. Which gave the reason why her leg began to ache.
Looking around now, she needed to get a baring of where she was. Cursing to herself for not having the trucks almanac, she just decided to walk into the city now. 'What be the harm?' She thought to herself as she walked even more and having to pause every now and then because of her leg. Three blocks down, she saw the faint edge of a sign. Orange and black and it had a Big "H" with a part of a "A" This was would make her day since there was only one place that would have a sign such as that and she said it out loud as she decided to push her leg to it's full limit by running "Harley Davidson. 20 years and it still runs. " Was an old slogan they used. Upon coming up to is, she saw that the place had seen much better days. Windows smashed, glass everywhere. Bikes on the ground, bodies littered the ground with either holes in they're heads or just completely headless. As she started to walk across the parking lot, she felt her leg give out a bit making her side to drop. Catching herself on a door, she had to catch her breath and let her leg rest up a bit before moving on. Looking at the car, it was a maroon Chevy Impala. Nothing out of the ordinary with it. using her weight, she would force it to rock. Listening, she heard a sloshing sound coming from the gas tank. It still had fuel inside of it. Hannah would keep that in mind. Grabbing the one dagger, she would slide the tip of the dagger across the door and made an X on it. Bending her knee a bit, she felt it was alittle better now.
Pushing off, she went to the building with a limp to conserve her strength in the injured leg. Inside the store was a mess. There was still clothing, bags, motorcycles, helmets of all different types and designs that one did catch her eye. Going over to it, she looked over it. Touching the button on the side, three red LED lights came on and they were fucking bright. This helmet was based off of the movie Predator. Behind it was a little smaller one that would fit Dana, but it's light was a Blue light that came on and it was just as bright. Taking them both off the shelf. With the The Predators helmets in hand, she would walk over to the counter and set down the one that would be Dana's. Her one eye looked around the counter and saw a container for hair bands. Grabbing a handful, she stuffed it into her pocket and took one more out and put her hair up in a bun. With the hood now down, she slid her Predator helmet on. It had some weight to it, but it felt comfy to wear. Turning on the light, she saw that it lit up pretty nicely in the dark part of the store. Stepping around more dead bodies. As she spoke, she heard her voice sounded different in it, lower, harsh and menacing like. "Ugh, so much of the dead is in here. Hopefully I'll find a nice bike that I can take my Wife out on." This helmet had a vocal box to it so that when one spoke inside of it, it would project they're voice to sound different, but Clear.
Knowing Dana, if she heard her voice now and saw this helmet, she would flip shit on her. Thinking about it for a moment Hannah decided she would do it when she gets back. There was one bike that had caught her attention as she reached in the back of the show room floor and it was a beautiful. The Hog sat next to the wall in the back. Stepping over to it, she threw her leg over the Heritage Soft tail. Kicking the kick stand back, she pushed the bike around so she could get a better look over it and once she got it into the light of the slow rising sun, she saw the beautiful onyx Black metallic paint. The black leather seats. A gorgeous bike that she could see Dana riding on the back of it. Smiling under the helmet, she took the helmet off and set it down on the seat as she put the kick stand back down. Getting off the bike, she needed the keys for it. Seeing the other desk where they sign bikes in and out near maintenance garage part of the store, she went to it. Going through all the drawers, she found a bunch of keys. Sighing as she grabbed the rest of the keys in her one hand. Going back over to the bike, she began to try all 22 keys. By the time she hit the 19th key, she saw it go into the ignition. Raising an eyebrow, she turned it slightly and the lights came on the bike. "YES! IT LIIIIIVES!" Jumping up in triumph, she ran back to the counter and grabbed Dana's helmet and went back to the Soft tail and put it in the one saddle bag. But she needed more then just a helmet and her leather Jacket. Looking around, she saw the clothing and smiled devilishly. Upon going over to them, she began to look at all the Tight fitting jeans. She found both Dana's and her sizes. Hannah remembered Dana's from all the times she took her shorts off that she wore under her pants.
Grabbing them, she began to walk around and grabbed some other things like riding gloves, two pairs of thigh chaps and two pairs of Biker boots in which she put on her pair. Snug as a rug. Picking up her pair of boots, she took everything back over to the bike and put all in the other saddle bag. Getting onto the bike, she slid her helmet back on. Looking through one eye thought, she turned her head to the left a bit so her right eye could see what all was going on. Turning the key to on, she lifted up and dropped her weight onto the kick start a few times. On the fourth try, the engine fired up. Reeving the engine, she shifted to first gear and rode the bike out the one fully broken window and rode through the parking lot. Hannah had a beautiful Dame to get back to before or even if she is already up by now. Her left foot shifted into second gear. The engine roared louder, and she held the front brake as she tilted the bike to the right and turned the handle bars so that she was now sliding a bit around a turn. Once she was cleared of the turn, she let go of the brake and raced forward. People on the island would hear the sound of a heavy engine roaring up the road across the river. If anyone would see it, they would see a female riding the black Harley with the Predator helmet heading right for the bridge. Slowing down and down shifting to first gear, Bam looked up and saw her as she waved at him. Her bike roared as she held down the accelerator as she went across the bridge and shifting again to second gear. Her trench coat flapping in the wind behind her as she leaned slightly and turned the bar a bit so she just went past the guard shack and was on the main stretch of the Islands road. Slowing down upon coming up to the Rig, she hit the brake gently til it stopped. The engine rumbled as she turned it off. Kicking the kickstand out, she let it rest. Going over to the rig, she climbed up and went inside it with the door shutting behind her slightly. Opening the divider, she slid into the sleeper section and saw it was still dark and Dana was still asleep. Speaking up as she had the lights on Dana and her voice again sounding not like her own voice. "Well, good morning beautiful. I hope you slept well because your going to be scared shitless now. BOOOH!" The light from the helmet would show a bit of the shoulders, the jacket and showed the helmet looking at her, the light making the reflective lenses turn red, making it look like red eyes staring at her.
"My dearest Wife Dana,
