Having given some blood Damon got up after they had found the necessary blood types to continue. He felt quite faint and lent against a table before stumbling forward. He then looked and saw the blood on the shoulder of the one woman they had brought in who had brown hair and put his hand up as his throat wretched "Excuse me..."
He then scuttled as quick as he could towards the gate and vomited for a moment "Jeez vomiting a bitch" He then stood and wiped the vomit from his face before re entering camp. His skin was now slightly pale so he grabbed some water and looked around as doctors continued to work on the injured patients.
Having swirled his mouth with water once or twice he went back towards where everyone was "Sorry about that..." Continuing to drink his water.

Jake walked into what they called the mess hall. There was another women there, she looked a bit sick, but Jake didn’t bother to ask what was going on, it wasn’t his business. So he just sat down next to Emre.
Then the friendly guy told them they could eat, and that Emre had to help Jake.
“Oh c’mon can you at least untie my hands, I have no guns, I wouldn’t make it out alive, so I’m not going to try anything, let me at least eat in a decent way please.” Jake said as he looked at Nate.
As Jake waited on a answer a kid ran in and took some food and sometime later a blonde woman. None of them spoke to Jake or Emre, so he only felt more uncomfortable, well or actually he didn’t feel welcome.
Aron waited patiently outside the entrance of the settlement. Going in all guns blazing was an idiot move, Aron certainly wasn't the wisest of men but knew acting any different wouldn't have the greatest outcomes. If Mac or the others weren't there, he'd leave. But Aron knew Mac would have made it, a leader like him surely would have gotten them there unless something unfortunate had happened. The most worrying thing for Aron was finding out what had happened during the time he had not been at the settlement. If there were deaths, he wanted to delay the amount of time it took for him to be told about the unfortunate deaths.
He was still just in his underwear and cap which would take some explaining as many would probably get the wrong idea. Aron didn't feel particularly cold, he came from England after all which would often have much lower temperatures.
Over the wall appeared Anne-Marie. "Well fuck me." He knew they probably had arrived at the camp but still didn't completely believe it. Aron and Anne-Marie didn't have a bad relationship, just not a particularly good one but he was happy at least to know they, or at least some of them had made it to the settlement. Anne Marie said that she was glad to see Aron back with the group, Aron certainly was glad to know that she was also there.
"Yeah. It's good to see you, been on a road trip across the whole of Colorado. Things." He chuckled. "They've been pretty crazy. But not I'm back." He pointed over to the woman that she had not met. "This. This is Sasha, she helped me out, I've helped her." Aron was still curious to see how Sasha would react to the new group, he knew she wasn't a people person but who could blame her, the things others did to her, he understood.
Then came another, a woman, the leader type. She questioned Anne-Marie and demanded answers, he saw a keen survivor in her. She came closer, he believed that there was going to be trouble. He was relieved to hear that she wasn't here for trouble and was in fact Anne-Marie's sister. He couldn't believe it, he didn't expect Mac and Anne-Marie to find her, he thought she'd be dead.
"Shit. So this is the McAllister clan." He offered her a handshake. "Names Aron. That's Sasha over there I know a lot of these guys, I was with them most of this journey. But things. Well they went.. bad. Some crazy ass drag queen captured me, brought me to his lair. He tried to do some things, awful things to me. That's why I'm just in my underwear, this cap and the blanket. But, on the lighter side, I'm here now and can't wait to get stuck in and help the camp. Now that's if I get in." Aron laughed and looked at the woman. The relaxed and calm was the attitude Aron used mostly in his life. To Aron, all the apocalypse brought was upset, so he would often try to bring the light out of the situation. He waited to see what the next stage of the plan was going to be.
Sasha saw Aron grab the attention of one of the guards in the watchtower, it was only a matter of time before they'd be inside and starting their new life with others. Sasha didn't feel comfortable with this. People. People and her were like jam and cheese, they didn't go. Before the outbreak, she was fine with others but these days she didn't trust anyone. Maybe a good thing but sometime she'd might have to change this. The inability to trust anyone was just as bad as being able to trust people. She didn't even trust Aron, she was only with him because she saved him.
Aron seemed certain that these were good people. She just had to go with the flow for now. She still needed to repay Aron for being the only person to help her escape the lair and not using her as a toy as all the other men would have. If things weren't like Aron promised, she'd get out, she could handle herself.
It was almost a minute since they'd been waiting. Right before she was about to speak up a woman appeared. Aron seemed surprisingly relaxed around her, like he knew who she was. Sasha sighed as the two began to engage in typical chit-chat and gave a simple nod as Aron introduced her. Given his reaction, Aron seemed certain that the place was safe, however they'd soon find that out in a couple of minutes.
After a short period, a second woman came. Sasha rolled her eyes, yet again the other began chatting whilst she was waiting at the side. She had been half-listening during his chat with the first woman. This time she decided to actually listen to the conversation encase there was something actually important. He mentioned Queenie's lair and she gulped. It was something she wanted to immediately put behind her and was kind of irritated when Aron mentioned it. Also she didn't like the fact that it only seemed that bad things happened to him in the lair, much worse things had happened to her. In her opinion, Aron got away without being touched, she'd been in there much longer and had experienced so much worse.
Sasha tried to speed things up as the mention of the subject meant she'd have to think about it for even longer, the sooner she was inside, the sooner she'd be able to put the past behind her and concentrate on her new life. "So, the camp?"

After the blood donor was hooked up, Andrei and Harding were working frantically. In a low voice the woman kept cussing and swearing. The blood was everywhere and the surgical vacuum was barely making due. They continued clamping and cauterizing bleeding arteries, and were close to finishing when a blonde woman came inside, saying she was a nurse and had AB+, after which she immediately began draining herself of blood. By now they had stopped all the vessels they could reach now from bleeding, but it still wasn't enough. They would have to open him up and continue.
None were speaking. Usually there would be an entire team of people doing this, but now it was just the 2 of them, and they would have to make due. While Andrei was making an incision over the wound so they can finish stopping the bleeding, Harding injected Sterling with a dose of ketamine, so he won't wake up during the operation. As soon as they opened the wound more, their previous blood donor had to run out whilst Charlie brought in someone else who lost a lot of blood. Although she talked in a joking manner, Harding snapped at her.
"Goddamnit, Charlie, how the hell are we supposed to take care of her too? We're struggling to keep this one alive. Get Mia! Now! And find someone else with 0 negative!"
Finally, the bleeding stopped, and their previous donor had come back apologizing. Looking at him, Andrei concluded he got sick from the blood he lost.
"No problem, man. Thanks! Get to the mess hall and get some fruit and fluids in you." he said to the man, as his eyes focused back on the task at hand. "Now comes the fun part."
They would have to cut out part of Sterling's intestines. Healing will take time and resources, but they had a job to do. If they simply left them there, they would decay and the man would die of a very nasty infection. If they didn't want to use resources on him, they could always shoot him.
Mia pulled her cup closer to her body, "Nah uh, this is mine, get your own." She smirked at him, I have cut a bitch for less." She winked at him, then stared as the young kid came in, 'Who the hell does he belong to?" Mia knew pretty much every face, since she had Harding did all the check ins. "Alright, too many new faces showing up." She watched Remy come in, recognizing as the blonde from Ellen's fathers group.
Mia sipped more coffee, listening to Nate explain his new companions, as they moved over and sat down. She smiled at them, 'I am Mia...a nurse here, are you two alright? You should eat while you can, the cook won't leave things out too long, and then it's no snacks til lunch." She was about to say something to Nate, but stopped, "I need to finish this, and then I should probably go and check in. You said someone was shot? How bad?" She shook her head and grabbed a couple of white pills from her pocket then popped them in her mouth, and swallowed them with a swig of coffee. She grinned at Nate and fished out two more, "Here, they will help."
"Fine I will," Nate said getting up. He got himslef a coffee and walked up to Jake. "Sorry pal. Don't have a knife on my," he said motioning to the cuffs. "If take them off if I could."
He joined Mia again. "No clue who the kid is. Never seen him before. Don't think he came with Ellen's Dad's group. Maybe he's with Emre and his friend." He nodded. "Agreed to many new people. All these more mouths to feed. Probably means we need to go on more searches. That means I'll probabaly need to go outside walls. I'm ready for a run if I don't slow them down." He looked at her and smiled. He noticed the blonde from the new group. The one who argued with lots of people when she first arrived.
When mia asked the question he turned. "Well the girl was shot, bleeding pretty bad. Though it was a gun shot wound. Looked like Ellen and Charlie had that handled. The other, aparently a guy, was shot aswell. I heard he needs blood but the doctor with that crazy hair has got it covered. Not sure if they need you or not. Might be worth a shot."
"What are they," he asked twirling the pill. "Doesn't matter," he said popping them with a swig of coffee. "Better not be roofing me ms. Shaw."
Elizabeth finished drawing the blood and although she was feeling a bit dizzy, she was generally okay. She tended to think that people got sick and passed out not because too much blood was drawn, but just from the sight of it. She finished up the process and hung the bag on a hook that was attached to a pipe over the bed where Sterling was being worked on. As the woman was brought in, she knew Andrei couldn't be in two places as once and the nurse that was here as people were getting checked in was no where to be found.
"Blood is ready, doc. I'll take care of this girl."
She took a second and looked to Damon who stepped back in and looked a little pale. She rounded the bed slowly and smiled to him. "Do me a favor and bring me back a little cup of juice? I could use the lift too."
She headed around the other side of the bed where Charlie laid her down and started to remove the dressing.
"I've got it from here, thank you. I'll get your friend fixed up."
She had no idea who these people were or where they came from, but that was none of her concern. What mattered now was medicine. Immediately she looked for the plastic bottle of alcohol the doctor had and she went to her first aid kit. There were alcohol wipes and gauzes that she could use to clean up the girls face and check for any broken bones. Once the face was cleaned, she could see the swelling and bruising, but she didn't feel that anything was out of place and broken. Just a few hard punches. Next was to tend to the gunshot wound in the shoulder.
She removed the compresses and saw the bleeding was minimal, which was a good thing.
"No major veins hit. Bleeding is minimal now."
Still, she new the recovery for this girl would take some time. Movement in that arm would be limited and she would have to keep it wrapped for a long time so the damaged muscles, nerves and tendons could repair. She started to clean away the excess with one hand while pulling out a long wrap of gauze and bandages with the other, working to keep the shoulder from being able to move. Surgery was not really an option, considering there was no bullet to remove and the shot was clean through. It was just a matter of healing now. She just hoped the doctor here had a good round of antibiotics the both of them could take.
As soon as Harding finished snapping at her; Charlie turned around and made a funny face mimicking the doctor. 'Get Mia' right, this was going to be good. Shaw went a little too far with the alcohol and what sounded like an orgy last night; so she was bound to be in a great mood as well.
Charlie clicked the button on the radio that was attached on her chestrig. Calling for Shaw was probably faster than scouring the camp looking for her anyway.
"Charlie to all stations." Charlie spoke. "Anyone got eyes on nurse Shaw? Nurse Shaw to the medbay, repeat; nurse Shaw to the medbay."
Whoever held a walkie-talkie in the camp was probably looking or on their way to get Mia. It was then the stench of Damon's vomit hit Charlie's nostrils, despite the room being already filled with the sour smell of blood. Charlie had seen him go off but was a bit too busy dragging Boobs McGee inside. Elizabeth had mistakenly seen her as Charlie's friend but she just couldn't be arsed to correct her. The puke pile on the ground had priority.
"Ah that's fuckin' mingin' dude!" Charlie said. "Forget the juice, clean that shit up first willya!? Before someone slips on it and breaks their neck! There's a pile of sand outside you can use to cover it up. Get those bloodstains too while you're at it."
Charlie shook her head. Would it have killed him to at least go outside to spill his guts? She got out two other zipcuffs from her belt and cuffed up Betty Boob to the bed. The medical staff could object all they wanted; this woman had proven to be dangerous and Charlie wasn't taking chances with her acting up again.
"Just a precaution." Charlie said to Elizabeth. "She's not going to be happy to see any of us. Apparently they think we're cannibals."
After she had tied up the woman to the bed she turned around and scratched her own head. Her hair was greasy, she was in dire need of a wash. She then remembered she still had to look for someone with O Negative. She changed the channel on her walkie-talkie from the guard channel to the general channel; she figured it was the fastest calling out for someone who had that blood type. And even so; the people in the camp were under no obligation to donate it.
"Attention Bear Lake settlers; this is Charlie calling from the medbay." Charlie spoke. "We are urgently looking for blood type O Negative. If you have this blood type please come to the medbay."
Charlie closed the channel. That was going to have to do.
Ellen smiled at the new arrival Aron. According to her dad and sister he was the eager type that helped out whenever he could and they weren't lying; the guy already mentioned helping out and Ellen figured since her sister had vouched for him she could give him a free pass. She didn't know about the woman Sasha; but she wasn't going to stir up anything new for now. There was already too much going on in the camp as it was already.
First came a call from Charlie for Mia, then a general call for blood donors. Ellen knew she was needed elsewhere now and Anne-Marie was capable enough of dealing with her found-again group member.
"I'm sorry but I need to deal with this. It's nice meeting you." Ellen said. "Anne-Marie; get your friend some clothes and some food. And go find dad; I'm sure he'll be glad to know Aron here is still alive and well."
Ellen then went to the medbay and passed the mess hall as she did. She saw Mia sitting there and figured since they were looking for her she might as well call her if they hadn't already. Ellen whistled sharply to get Mia's attention.
"Mia!" Ellen called. "They want you in the medbay! Hustle up!"
Ellen then ran to the medbay. The stench of blood immediately welcomed her as she entered the tent. She almost stepped in a pile of puke as well and wondered who it came from. Charlie had tied the raging pale-skinned woman up to the bed and Elizabeth seemed to be taking care of her.
"Another one of my dad's group arrived." Ellen told Charlie. "Didn't give them the usual rundown but Anne-Marie says he's alright. He brought someone else but I wasn't going to get into it right now. Go see what you can find out Charlie, I'll hold the fort here."
"What's the status here?" Ellen asked Elizabeth. "She gonna make it?"
The pirate nodded at Ellen and walked off. He was headed to the mess hall to get some grub when he heard a walkie talkie go off with a call for O- and he turned right around. He hadn't seen his son but he hoped he was eating right now. The boy definitely needed it. He walked back to the med tent and pushed up the flap and quickly got in place.
"Might as well be takin' yer blood from meself doc, seein' as yer questions 'Ave already been asked. Given blood a'fore all this too so might be I know what ta expect."
He looked at the man laying on the table. He was in bad shape and Veran wasn't sure he would make it but Andrei seemed to know what he was doing so he had faith that the doctor would do everything that he could to save the man. He still shook his head at the entire situation. He didn't know what had happened but if Charlie had been involved he was certain it had not been good. He would respect her position but that didn't change his opinion that she had no place in leadership.
Anne-Marie nodded as her sister told her to give Aron some clothes. As luck would have it; Aron's belongings along with the gear taken by Aron from the CIA safehouse raid was still in their possession so he was in luck. Anne-Marie was curious as to how Aron ended up with no clothes.
"Come on." Anne-Marie said. "We still got your stuff in our car. Dad's got the key; he'll be happy to know you're still alive and kicking."
She then led Aron and his friend to her dad; who was still in conversation with the elder guy Randall. She knew her dad was going to be happy to see Aron but the old guy probably wasn't.
"Dad!" Anne-Marie called. "Look who came knockin' at the gate!"
"Hold on for a moment." Mac said to Randall when he heard his daughter calling.
He turned around and was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar face had made his way to the camp as well. Aron was alive and well and had made his way there as well. Still, his sudden disappearance demanded an explanation. For now, he was just glad the kid was alive.
"Holy shit kid!" Mac said. "We thought you kicked the bucket! Where the hell have you been? What happened to you?"
The redhaired woman who followed was unfamiliar to him. Whatever had happened to Aron, this woman was probably involved.
As Aron was about to continue his talk with the woman but was interrupted when the woman received a call from some of the other camp members. It seemed she was needed elsewhere and was told that Anne-Marie was going to handle his situation. Aron laughed, there never seemed to be a day that passed which didn't have drama. Ellen mentioned her dad and Aron smiled, he guessed that Mac would have made it but still, to confirm that he did was even greater.
Looking back at Anne-Marie, he was told that a majority of his gear was in their car. He had only lost some clothes, a couple of cans of food, a water bottle and a bag at Queenie's lair. He raised his fist into the air, celebrating. "Always knew I was the lucky one."
Afterwards, he was lead to Mac by Anne-Marie, who was in mid-conversation with an older, tough-looking man. Only a minute ago he was told that Mac was here but seeing him in person was something else. The look on Mac's face suggested that he didn't expect Aron was going to make it, neither did Aron for a long while.
After being questioned. Aron responded."Well. The quick stop in the desert. I wandered a bit, not too far. Some men who were looking for help called me over. Next thing I knew I was in the back of a car heading down the motorway. Good thing was they were heading to Colorado too, I got out of that situation quite easily, those bandits didn't even know I'd gone. You guys had no clue that I was on my own in another area that I had no clue about. But this is when shit got real."
He looked over at Sasha just before speaking about Queenie, he knew how uncomfortable she felt at the subject but wanted to tell someone else what actually happened.
"Some tubby man, went by the name Queenie. Saved his life, then when I turned around, black. When I woke up, I was in some sorta concert hall. Almost gave me a heart attack, he was all dressed up as a woman and talking to some rotten corpse which he called his boyfriend."
Aron scratched his head, pondering about the subject. "He said he was going to fuck me whether I liked it or not, had to convince the guy I was gay to let me off the chains. While trying to escape I found Sasha over here, all chained up." He pointed to her, who gave a head nod as a greeting. "Sick fella. He raped people and them killed them. After they'd turned, they'd be in the back rooms and chained for his last show."
Aron then showed him his axe. He gritted his teeth. "Well, we got out but this axe tasted a different blood, human."
After a little pause he spoke again. "But that ain't gonna get me down. I ain't changed just because some drag-queen psychopath has got a bit touchy feely. I just want to have a laugh and help out."
A large smile grew on Aron's face, overwhelmed that he was actually back with the people he once believed would never be seen again.

Jake smiled as Mia introduced herself. “Nice to meet you, I’m Jake.” He said as he forced himself to smile. He really wasn’t happy with the situation, but he could try to be friendly, to the people that where friendly towards him. Jake heard how Mia said she was heading towards the med bay. Before she left Jake looked her in the eye. “Please take care of them, I don’t know them well, but they feel like friends already, I know that doesn’t make sense, but please just take care of them.” Jake said softly. Jake normally wasn’t that emotional, but it was just now that he finally found some people, where he actually wanted to stay with, he wouldn’t want to lose them, before knowing them properly.
Jake rolled his eyes as Nate told him he wasn’t carrying a knife. “This sucks.” He said and sighed after. “Nate was it ? Can you please find a knife somewhere and cut me lose, I would love to enjoy this meal, but with my hands lose.” He said as he looked at Nate. “It’s not like I’m going to run around and kill people, i'm calm just want to eat.” He added.
Sasha sat on the hood of the car waiting for Aron and the women to finish talking and get into the settlement. Soon, the conversation ended, apparently the girl was urgently needed. Typical she thought. Aron was obviously mistaken when he had told her that these people were professional. Aron chuckled for some unknown reason. How was that funny? These people were almost falling apart and he had the ignorance to chuckle. Boy, this kid needed to change if he wanted to survive.
It took them a little while but they were eventually brought in, apparently going to see another one of Aron's old group members. This seemed to be something which was getting a little too regular and slightly irritating.
Aron and one of the men began chatting away, the boy had to explain himself. She really didn't want him to talk about Queenie again, that experience still haunted her... and there it was, Queenie was mentioned again. Her lip trembled slightly as she was reminded of the psychopath who had made her suffer on so many occasions. It must have been about 12 men who had done it to her.
In Aron's last couple of lines, he spoke about how Queenie's evilness and deluded nature will not be able to bring him down. She smiled at him because he'd stopped talking about the man who had made her so uncomfortable but secondly because of his determination to continue on. Sasha knew that she had to forget all of this, like him. The kid was childish and goofy but perhaps if she stuck around near him, maybe she could change for the better.
Emre entered the mess hall with Jake and Nate. There was food in there, Emre was starving considering the food he found in the cabin's kitchen wasn't eaten by anyone. The last time he ate was a couple days ago and he was still unsure how he went on like he did. He could smell the food and quickly rushed over to sit down. It seemed Jake was unable to eat as he was still zip tied.
"Ah shit... I would try with my hatchet, but they took it off me"
A woman came over and sat down near them, introducing herself. Her name is Mia and she is nurse here? This place seemed to be packed with useful stuff and people. Nothing that Emre had experienced before. He had only been with a few constantly moving groups, nothing more. He gave a nod and smiled at Mia.
"Hey Mia, I'm Emre"
She told the two they better get food soon, he definetly agreed with her. Emre stood up from his seat and looked at Jake with a soft smile.
"I'll get you some food, man" He rushed over to the counter where the food was, grabbed two plates and put on anything that looked good. He didn't specifically know what Jake wanted, but he could just leave the things he didn't want to eat. He went back over to Jake and placed the plate in front of him then sat down and placed his own plate down, ready to eat.
"Damn, this looks good"

Damon looked at the guard woman who had threatened her the day before and as he found a bit of solid food in between his teeth from vomiting and spat it out. As he walked over to place some sand on the vomit he mimicked Charlene whilst talking to himself"That's mingin' duuude, thanks for giving blood and stuff" Then returned to his own tone of speaking "No problem, was a nice thing to do wasn't it. Un-befucking-leivable" He then sipped some more water and looked around seeing treatment and stuff occur he had little bar basic first aid knowledge so he had no reason to interfere currently.
Dale stared about the tent, watching people talk and chow, not actually hearing what they had to say. He had finished a bit of his plate, but suddenly started feeling an old emotion, one he hadn't felt since school. As he looked about the room, he felt a pang of loneliness, like when he was pushed away from people for being too smart, or in their words 'a nerd'. He had decided to enter the camp because of that feeling, so it almost seemed counter productive to sit here, alone, even if there were people around.
He spotted a pretty blonde woman sitting by herself, and got up and walked over to where she sat. As he approached her, she looked like she was lost in thought, but he sat on the opposite side of her anyways. He was silent for a moment. After taking a few bites, he looked up at her and attempted a smile, which came out looking more like a horse laughing.
"Hope you don't mind me sitting here. I came through those gates earlier because I was tired of being alone, but now I sit by myself. I'm not very social, and you don't look like you really want to talk, so could you just sit with me while we eat?" He was being sincere, and hoped he wasn't bothering her. Again he tried to smile, but ended looking the exact same way. Then glancing down at his place and back up at her, he began eating his eggs again.
Mia was standing as she heard Ellen. She nodded,"on my way!" She leaned down to Nate and whispered in his ear. 'No ,they are a pick me up,thats all, ever heard of tylenol." She grinned at him as she reached in her back pocket and slipped her pocket night into his hand,"let the guy eat." She moved away and headed out of the tent.
She was dreading this. If they needed her as well, shit must be all fucked up. She ran once she left the tent flap, rushing into the med tent. She took one look and scanned the scene. The pirate was volunteering to give blood.
Mia looked at Harding and the new Doc as she grabbed a kit and moved towards the pirate." Want me to start him and fill me in?" The place looked like hell. Blood all over the beds and the man and woman on the both looked bad. She was pulling on a pair of gloves as she moved over and told Veran,"you need to sit down, roll a sleeve up."
