Max sat in the Knight as tey drove down the road. He looked over Charles who was driving, "saw you and Sarah. Sure you aren't sleeping? Saw the way you kissed," he said laughing.
He he looked back at Abby and the tied up girl. He didn't like her being with Abby, she was reckless. "Allstar. How's the dead weight doing," he asked as he turned to look out the window. "We aren't far enough to drop her yet."
"How far of a drive," he asked turning back to Charles? "You said a day?" He didn't like going that far from the farm, but he knew they needed the right. "We should have brought some fuel with us. Incase we needed it."
he he pulled a map from his pack, "there's a town up the way. It's quite big and there's a Main Street running through it. We stilll need to stop pharmacy." His eyes met Abby's in the mirror and shook his head at her letting her know it was okay, that Chalres didn't know.
Abby sat staring out the window. She was trying her best to ignore the girl next to her. She listened to Max talk about the run and dropping off the girl. When he mentioned stopping at the next town and the pharmacy, she immediately stared at Max, and caught him looking back at her.
Her cheeks had turned pink, and she couldn't hold his gaze. If they wanted to stop, fine. She crossed her legs and kept looking out the window, "sure can tell we are coming up to a town, you guys notice we are passing Sinners left and right, a few at a time?" She glanced at Addylin in the seat, then frowned, 'We can't put her out with a bunch of them around, can we?"
"Maybe that will change when we get back to the farm," he said with a sly smile on his face.
He knew he had maybe pushed it a little too far with his final comment but he really didn't care. Maybe he wasn't good enough for her and if she was smart maybe she would push him back to arms length but until she did that he planned on continuing to take "liberties".
"100 miles give or take. Back before all of this that would have been a couple hours there and a couple hours back."
They had been driving for a while, dodging the occasional growler in the road when they finally came to the town that Max had talked about.
"Well here's our first stop. Might as well let Addilyn go and then find that pharmacy. The town was still a little ways off and the area was clear of growlers.

"She can make it. She likes threatning and killing things," Max said looking at her. "She could make it. She would have her weapons." He looked at the buildings in te town. "There at the far side there's a pharmacy," he said pointing to a big sign. "In that strip mall." It was at the far end of the street, on the right side. It was near a few trees that dipped into a valley. "We can pull out front. It looks mostly clear. We can kill any Sinners around the strip mall and let her out. If she's smart she'll go into the valley," he said as he got the gun ready. "We should stay quite until we need to go loud. Bats and knives ready people."

Jay laid on a branch in a tree, close to the pharmacy. He had been there since the other night and none of the undead had found him yet. He had a leg dangling off of the branch.
He felt a tug on his pant leg and opened his eyes. He looked down and stared into the clouded eyes. It took him a few seconds before his mind registered what it was and he quickly jumped to his feet with a yelp and quickly held onto the trunk so he wouldn't fall. Bellow him was at least four undead staring up at him.
Abby could not believe they were risking this for a damn pill. She took a deep breath and grabbed the bat from her box, "Ready." She waited for the guys to get out before she did as well. She watched as Max pulled Addylin from the vehicle and cut her loose. She handed her her belongings as he removed the blind fold.
Abby kept looking around, her eyes scanning for Sinners. She spotted for at the edge of the parking lot, standing around a tree, "Um, Charlie, Max, that look strange to you? Why they all standing and trying to get up that tree?" She started to move towards it, bat held up ready to swing.
"Yeah that is about as strange as it gets. Wonder if there is a cat up there. Might as well check it out, there's only a few of them, should be easy enough."
Charlie grabbed his combat knife and started walking over there with the group. They were keeping a pretty tight formation so that they could cover each other if something went down. He saw a couple more growlers off in the alley but they hadn't taken note of the group. Charles pointed them out and kept moving.

Max Pulled addi and cut the zippers with his knife. He pulled off her blindfold as Abby handed her the pack. "You're free now. Don't go back to the farm. If you do, death is inevitable." With that he let Addi go on the way. He didn't want to leve her but she was just to unpredictable. He heard Abby speak and turned to her, "looks like something's up there. Probably just a squirrel. If I had my bow I'd try and shoot it down.
Max watched Charlie stalk off. He started to follow and saw him motion to the Sinners down the alley way. Max motioned for Abby go help Charlie as he approached the first Sinner. He stabbed it's head and it fell at his feet. Max just simply stepped over it and stabbed the next. He turned quickly to get the other one, his shoulder burning as he did. The pain still hurt but he could fight through it.
Charles came in from behind the group in the alley, his combat knife took the first one in the temple and it clattered to the ground. He yanked the blade free right as the others noticed him. He brought his knife up into another's chin, pushing the blade all the way up and into the creatures brain. It too went clattering to the ground. A kick sent the third sprawling to the ground
"Abby," he said motioning to the one on the ground as he jumped forward, his blade burying in the eye socket of the last one he saw as it fell he yanked backwards on the blade, dislodging it. He wiped his blade and looked around. He and Abby had managed to take care of all of them.
A yawn escaped her lips as the young women stretched out on seats in the storage room. Scraping her eyes of gross eye crust before grabbing her back pack and supplies once more. The routine of traveling everyday had in grained itself into her raven haired head. Opening the door slowly to the main part of the shop. Glancing at the walls that had some family photo's that sadden her to see had blood on a few. What was once a mom and pap shop was now a shelter in a pinch. Looking through the glass door Sab didn't see anything too dangerous. A couple walkers were wondering about but that wasn't any bother. A couple was better then a herd. Pushing the door that caused a little bell to jingle before she could even get her bow out to fire at the closest walker. Reloading and firing a arrow into the other one when it noticed the bell jingle. Taking her arrows back from them she placed in her quiver. Checking the bodies for anything good. Unfortunately it was just a wallet and a few bucks. Nothing of any use now. Standing up Sabita cupped her ears in the direction that she heard unusual noises. Coming from the strip mall to her left. Turning her heels towards that direction deciding it was best to investigate what it was. Biting her lip hoping that it wasn't some bandits or something. "HEY ANYONE THERE. HOPE YOUR NOT BANDITS OR ASSHOLES." She yelled knowing all to well that it would attract attention. Whether it was good or bad Sabita left it to hope.
Abby approached the tree, to check the dead and looked up to see what had them all gathered around this tree. She almost couldn't believe her eyes, "How the hell...what are you doing up there?" She waved Charlie over, "Look at this guy, he thinks he's a monkey or something." She grinned, 'They're gone, Dude, if you wanna come down." She looked over at Max, "gotta give him credit, smart idea, least now we know they can't climb trees." She lifted her head as she heard another noise, "What's that?" She could have sworn she heard someone calling something.

Max joined his group. "What's he doing in a tree," He asked looking from the kid to charles and Abby. "The ones are dealt with in the Alley way," he said pointing to the dead Sinners. "Let's go check this pharmacy." He turned back to the kid. "Maybe you should stay with him Charles." He motioned for Abby to follow him into the the store.
As he walked he heard a noise. Spinning around he pulled his gun out, keeping it drawn. "You hear that allstar? No a Sinner. Keep your eyes open."
He walked towards the sound, using the buid long as cover. He saw a girl and stepped out with his gun raised. "Drop the weapon and get on the ground," he said eyeing her up.
Charles looked around to find Abby too late and realized that she wasn't there. He heard the all too familiar guttural sound behind him and spun around, trying to bring his knife to bear on the growler that he had kicked to the floor. He was too late in his reaction and the thing was on top of him.
His knife went clattering out of his hands and across the street, out of his reach. He wanted to scurry to get his blade but he had more important things to worry about right now, namely the growler that was trying to knave into his face right now.
"Help!" He called out loud enough that someone could hear him. He didn't want to attract anymore attention to himself, but he needed help.
Abby glanced over at Max, as he told her to keep her eyes peeled. He took control for a moment, and had his weapon on a female that was moving towards them.
She heard a yell for help, "Damnit, that's Charlie!" she left Max to deal with the female for a moment, and took off at a sprint, bat in had. She found Charlie on his back with a Sinner on top of him. Abby moved in and swung hard. The dead's head was smacked so hard , that the back of the head tore off and flew down the alley way. The things crumpled where it was, 'Hey..you alright?" She was shaking a bit, 'Sarah would kill us if we let something happen to you." She moved forward and held out her hand to help him up, "Max has his gun drawn on some female, she was hollering, so pretty sure she isn't dead."
Sabina was startled by few things these days. But a humen telling her to get disarmed was one of those. Blinking her dark eyes that stared past her few loos strands infront of her. She didn't make a motion to her bow or her arrows at all. Instead she just calmly pushed the strands out of view while she calmly looked him up and down. "No? I'm not going to make myself defensless infront of some man that could kill me or worse" Shrugging her shoulders a little bit as she stared at him calmly. Being alone had made her see how untrustworthy people could be. Sabina wasn't willing to risk her safety just at a demand. Besides he could of at least said please. " Sir you already have the upper hand anyways if I wanted to which I don't. So i hope that makes you feel secure enough." Calmly she spoke somewhat nice with her hands now raised to make the boy with the gun feel safe despite his advantages. "Because I'm not putting the bow down."

"List I don't want to hurt you either," Max said eyeing up the girl. "I have a group. Just over there," he said pointing to the massive knight. "Now I'm going to trust you. Mostly because I need to find something soon so I can get going." He talked calmly but didn't lower the gun. "That's a nice bow there Tigerlilly. How good are you with that." He knew the question was odd but he asked it anyway.
"Listen in going against everything I normally do, mostly cause somethig you do scares the cr@p out of me," he said as he lowered the gun. "Now I need to get back to my group. Follow or don't. I don't care right now." He started walking backwards, his gun holstered but still not turning his back. He expected the girl to follow, though he didn't really care. If she was good with the bow he could use her to hunt. If she didn't come, he'd live, she meaned nothing to him."
As Abby was running over Charles attempted to fight the growler off. It was one of the stronger ones, he assumed that the thing must have turned recently and been in fairly good shape when it turned. His head hurt and he was starting to get exhausted. It almost managed to bite him but he pushed it just far enough off that all it got was a chunk of his hair, which hurt like hell but was better then it could have been.
Abby finally got there and took the growlers head off halfway through. He breathed a sigh of relief and pushed it off, his muscles screaming at him. He rolled over and tried to stand, only to fall back down to his knees as his vision started to swim. He hadn't heard a word Abby had said.
He looked up at her and tried to stand again. His head was still spinning. He reached back to his head and felt blood, not alot but enough. He knew he hadn't been bit but couldn't figure out why he was bleeding.
When Charlie got to his feet, and pulled his hand from the back of his head revealing a bloody palm, all Abby could say was, "fuck" she reached over and wrapped one arm around his waist, as she tucked herself under his arm pit, against his side, "Lean on me, we gotta get something to put on your head." She stared at him as she helped him walk out of the alley, 'You must have smacked your head on the pavement, Charlie." She noticed his dazed expression, 'CHARLIE!, you hearing me?" She spotted Max, moving backwards from the woman. What the fuck, shit! She glanced around, at least there were no Sinners, yet. She worried that the scent of blood would whip them up in a frenzy. She got Charlie to the truck, and leaned him against it to prop him up, 'Look...I gotta find some guaze or something for your head." She glanced at the pharmacy doors. They were glass and all busted out, and the inside was dark. shit, this was gonna be fun. She gripped her bat and headed inside. Her thought right now was sterile gauze and something for pain, maybe nausea if she could find something.
