Brian had finished putting the last of the list of items he needed down in the book. Medicine was always low. The raiders didn't take it, but they were still low. Enough to keep fevers down and fight the pain. They had some ones people took daily, but it still wasn't enough. It was always a constant concern, one he always got the runners to look for.
At least it was a quiet day, or as it could be. Dean was in with Mattt in the med bay a simple twisted ankle. Medically wise it was slow. Sure they were preparing, going over lists and items, making sure they had nothing hiding. They kept it all out in the open so if Kennedy wanted something, they could just take it. It was a simple method. As Max and Amber organized that inthe kitchen, it was quiet. They could only wait.
He turned a page in his book and began to jot down a few. Ore items. Bandages, splints, tape and gauze. They could use makeshift ones for now, but some real ones would be better in the long run. As he took time to go over the list he heard the sound of trucks pulling up to the gate. The raiders were here, they had finally begun.
Soon they were let inside, and Brian moved on his crutches to the window. He could make out Kennedy himself, moving along the grass. He spoke to another man, and a woman who Brian had never seen before. Whoever she was, she was important, the man too. No one else got spoecifc tasks unless it was to beat or shoot someone one.
As the doors opened he turned and could make out Jack and a blonde woman being brought inside. The raiders simply dumped them on the couch and moved away, back off in to the yard. Jack called for him and slowly Brian hobbled out. He had a first aid kit, it was nearly empty, it would have enough to clean the wounds or help with whatever she had.
"Was she bitten? What are the extent of her wounds," Brian asked, pulling a stool forward and taking a seat before the woman. "What about you or the other girls? Any injuries?" Brian let the crutches to the ground and reached me out to the woman on the couch. "She's not? She's not one of them is she? Don't they have their own doctors, own resources to waste."
He rolled up his sleeves and looked at the woman. "Seems her leg got the extent of the wound, but it doesn't seem to be that fresh. How was she hurt? Should max be informed about her?"
