Addilyn took deep breaths, grabbing her jacket she stepped towards the celler.
"Are there any biters down there?" she asks her voice trembling "I-I can't go down if there are"
She fumbled in her jacket looking for her knife, then she remembered she gave it to Charles
"C-can I have my knife back?" she asks her eyes pleading her hand was on the door knob and it was trembling so bad it looked like she might rip the door knob off. "P-Please" she adds quickly
She heard Max fall, which only made her shaking worse. She started to panic inside. Addilyn took deep breaths and mumbled inaudible words, which seemed to partly calm her down.
Abby could not do a thing as she heard Max fall. She was in the middle of answering his question about the meds, 'I..don't know, let me look, but I have never heard of it before." She was opening the cabinet when he went down, 'MAX!" she was over to the tub in a moment, trying to help him. "Jesus! What..." she realized she was grabbing his naked flesh , and grabbed the towel off the toilet seat, "Here...here, you're all wet, I can't get ahold of you right." She wrapped the towel around his waist. She saw it, and it never phased her, she had more important things to deal with , than embarrassment.
Abby did her best to take most of his weight and got him to his feet, 'One leg out, on the rug...then the other, then you sit." She used her leg and knocked the clothes off the toilet seat for him to sit down. "Damnit, Max....you just scared the hell outta me, are you hurt?" She got him down and started checking his head .
Declan had been walking for ages. He narrowly escaped a group of walkers last night. The only thing he regretted is he lost his car. He held the axe in his right hand and the flask of water in his left. He had his rucksack on his back. It contained nothing except his phone. Declan was wearing his lumberjack coat, jeans and work boots. His tool belt was wrapped securely around his waist. Declan saw the farm in the distance. "Thank god!" He put the flask away and started to run towards the farm. "Hey? Anyone there?" He yelled as he approached. He stopped when he was close enough clutching his axe ready. "Hey is there anyone whose alive here? Hello?" He continued to yell.
Sarah felt a rush of relief when Charlie walked into the hall. She watched Addylin grab her coat and head to the cellar door in the kitchen. When Charlie grabbed hold of her, she didn't fight him, but melted to his side. She knew he needed to touch her, feel she was safe.
She was shaking a bit. What was wrong with her? She seemed like she was going nutz and suddenly. Was she on something? She heard a thud upstairs and Abby yell Max's name. 'Give her the knife and let her go down their, and a blanket from the counter." She pushed off Charlie, 'I am gonna see if Abby needs help, I think..." she moved to the steps and took them two at a time, "ABBY...what's going on?" She burst into the bathroom and took a sweeping gaze, then instantly pulled back and closed the door some, 'I'm sorry...I...is he alright..what's wrong?" She was as red as a beet, and her voice was shaky, as she tried not to laugh. It would be mean to laugh if he was hurt.
"I'll cover you" she controlled her hands and grabbed her 9mm hand gun.
She stayed behind Charles ready to shoot anything. Her tight jeans were not good for much running and her green shirt sleeves had slight blood stains on them. She loaded her gun feeling the weight and texture. Addilyn looked at Charles and nodded her hazel eyes like stones. 'let me kill something' she mentally begs. Her heart was pounding.
"And by the way my name is Addilyn, not 'new girl'" she says
He wasn't sure he should trust her but for the time being she was the best he had and he would really rather not have to ask Sarah to go through that again. It had been hard enough on her when they had to do it to Max and Abby. He realized that with everything that they had been through that she was fried. He decided to give her some time to relax.
He opened the door slightly again.
"Ok, hand over any weapons that you have. We will pat you down so I will know if you try and hide anything, in which case my friend Addilyn will put a bullet in you brain."

Max grabbed the towel from her hands and dried of some of his body. The room was still spinning and blinked to fight it. He began to stand using Abby for balance. "My shoulders still sore and my head is killing me," he said before smirking, "I alsonhave a cavity I think. But hey life could be worse." Despite falling on his face he still managed to make a comment. He covered himself up with the towel and smiled at her, "didn't peek now did you," he asked laughing. "Allright I'm stepping out. Help me balance." He grabbed onto her shoulders and took a stepped out. The mat seemed to move all over but he put his foot on it. "Okay got it now the other foot," he said as he stepped out, putting his upper weight on Abby. He was now fully balanced and swayed back and forth on his feet. "I think I need to sit down." He sat on the toilet seat and put his head in his hands. "I'm fine. Just dizzy. Really dizzy." He like at the clothes. "Was that all there was," he asked picking one of it up. "I don't think many of this will fit. It seems a few sizes to small. The shirt might. But these defiently won't," he said holding up the boxers. "Where's my dirty clothes?"
Declan stopped yelling for a moment looking around axe ready for walkers. He then heard the man speak. He stood there for a moment but eventually handed over his axe. He then put his rucksack to the side. He stood there. He had nothing hidden. All the rucksack contained was a phone and flask. He wondered for a brief moment why'd they would pat people down but obviously that was a dumb thought. He looked at the man then the girl with the gun, he wasn't frightened but he wasn't really comfortable with the threat but it was for safety reasons.
Charles grabbed the weapon and then let the man through.
"Have you been bitten?" He asked almost routinely now.
He then proceeded to pat the man down to ensure that he had hidden no other weapons. Once he was satisfied he slid the axe handles through a loop in his belt and sized the man up.
"A question if you would. Are you alone? If not where are your friends? We've got space here if you need to rest but I will be keeping the axe, at least until I can talk to the others about you. What's your name?"
He went to the stairs and called up. "Looks like we're running a bed and breakfast guys, we've got more company."
He returned and motioned for Addilyn to lower her gun.
"Max, you can't wear those...just...don't put on the boxers, what about the sweats?" She really wanted him to put on some pants, "Sarah....he just fell in the tub, it's fine, I go him." She did not want her coming in here again. She needed to get him settled, and maybe laying down.
"Max...here, put your foot in." she had dropped to her knees in front of him and was trying to help him put the sweat pants on, "I am gonna wash the dirty clothes, since we got power." She got his foot in one whole of the leg and then the other followed, 'Alright...look, " she started to stand up, her hair hanging in her face as she bent and pulled them up to his knees, "I am gonna help you stand and we are gonna pull these up, then I am gonna take you to the bed.' She stared at him,and grinned, 'there was no peak to it, it was there for all to see, I think Sarah saw it too." She chuckled and then slipped her arm under his, to try and get him to his feet.
"I haven't been bitten." He stood there as he was patted down. "I am alone but I have a car with minimal supplies about 13 miles down the road." He looked at the man as he asked his name. "My name is Declan Tomsett." He saw the gun get lowered and he felt a lot more comfortable. He stood there for a moment. "Can I ask you a question. How many of you are there?" He asked. Declan stood there awkwardly waiting for a response, he picked up his rucksack putting it back on. He wasn't sure if coming here was the best idea but it would hopefull be a lot better then being a loner through this whole thing.
Sarah listened to Abby inside and Max. He seemed completely out of it, in her opinion. "Is he drunk?" She raised a brow, and then tapped on the door, 'You sure you're gonna be alright with him?" She would help, if the other woman said she needed it, even if Max was on her shit list right now.
She heard Charlie from the steps and moved to peer down at him, "What?" she started down the steps, 'Another one..." she slowed and crept down the last two, eyes wide. She saw Addylin with a gun and then another man. Sarah glanced at Charlie, 'He just came up?" She looked at the man, and moved next to Charlie, 'I'm Sarah." She spoke softly and just looked at the guy, for a moment. She looked at Addylin, "You alright, now?"
Addilyn held then gun at her side and shook her head.
"I've got it all bunched inside me" she says not moving her eyes from the man "I just need to let it out" she didn't say how, because she knew they would make her stop.
She looked the man up and down watching his every move "Is Max okay? Drunk? High?" she asks with a slight smile. She remembered the first time she was high. A few small scars were visible on her wrist where her shirt wasn't covering her arm. Small blood stains lined the sleeve.
"Here have another guest" she says stepping aside for Sarah to see the man "Let's start a hotel/ bead and breakfast"

Declan looked around. The farm didn't look very secure. "This place doesn't look very secure." He says to the man before the new person emerges. "Oh hey, I'm Declan." He says. He had heard some of the commotion upstairs not being able to make sense of it. Declan stood there looking at the man, waiting to see if he was let in. He could bargain with them maybe if they declined him. Declan finally leaned slightly on the door frame. He looked at the people. He looked at the gun, a gun was useless compared to an axe in a world like this. A gun attracts attention, an axe doesnt. He is let in by the man. "Thanks." He says.

"They should fit, they'll bet tight but they'll fit," Max said as he pulled them out of the clean clothes pile. When abby got on her knees he began to cough an sputter. "Already we only loser twice," he said smirking. "I'm sorry it must be the drugs." It wasn't, he just wanted to comment. He put his leg in the whole and then te other. When she pulled it up his knees he couldn't help but feel helpless. "God went from running the show to having to need help to pull up my pants." He nodded to what she said about helping him stand as steadied himself on her shoulders as he did. "If I'm going to be i might need some company. It will be lonely all alone," he gave a sad look and then smirked. He pulled the pants up all the way. The lets cam up short on his own, like he was wearing pants made for a kid. "Can I keep the shirt off for now. Going in the dark might not be a good idea."
Abby didn't answer his comments at first. She was struggling to bare his weight. 'Damn, you're heavy." she muttered and then once the pants were up, she burst out laughing, 'wow...Urkel." she couldn't help it. She didn't wanna let him go, but started heading him for the door, 'I know, but I can't hold you and the candle too." She sighed, and gripped him by the waist of the pants, 'alright..no shirt...and I will get you in bed, and come back with something for you to eat." She shook her head, "you don't get no more of those damn pills, that's for damn sure.' She glanced up at him, "once I get you food, I am gonna take a bath, and it sounds like there's stuff going on down stairs, I wanna see what's goin on, alright?" She opened the door and started walking him into the hall, heading to the purple bed room, 'You probably be asleep before you know it." She grinned up at him, but he might not see it in the fading light.
"Your right about security and that's something we will be aiming to fix, we all just got here today"
He looked at Sarah, "yeah he just ambled on up and started yelling. Guess thus means we'll have more bodies to do heavy lifting though. Which is something we will desperately need."
He was glad that Sarah had brought the pack inside because it meant that they had more food available. The newcomers would have to eat some of the other food, or at least Addilyn would. He wasn't sure what type of food the new guy might have brought.
Sarah looked at Charlie and nodded. She didn't answer Addylin's question about Max, exactly, "Max slipped in the tub." she leaned in and her lips found Charlie's ear, <something is wrong with him, he seems out of it, Abby may need your help with him> she kissed his cheek and then smiled at Declan and Addylin, 'Alright..let's see what we have, get this rolling. We have running water so you all can wash up some, if you want." She headed for the kitchen, and to the counter. She and Abby had set out some pots and candles lit the area. She moved to the kitchen table and started pulling out cans of chef boyarde ravioli. Sarah glanced at Addylin, "Can you go in there to that pantry and see what they have that might go with these, to make something large enough for all.." she clicked off her fingers, "six..wow..six of us?" She moved over and started opening the few cans she had and dumping them into a pot. She stared at the girl, and took note of her arms. She didn't say anything.

Max walked out of te room with her. He tried not putting all his weight on her put the spinning of the room made that slightly hard. He did admit tha he liked her holding onto him. Having her arms wrapped around him made him feel safe and normal. "Do they need help downstairs. I should go help them," he said looking at the stairs. They narrowed and he shook his head. "No laying down seem nice." He said as they moved into the room. "You're going to let me sleep alone," he asked as he sat in the edge of the bed. "Be safe down there. If you get hurt the two new people are going to die." He layed down ontop of the covers, it felt weird. He was so used to sleeping on the ground that a fluffy bed wa salmon uncomfortable. His head hit the pillow and he sighed as she walked out.
