George had traveled for some time now. A couple of hours, could have surpassed a day by now. He kept his eyes on the road for any other humans looking for a ride and that weren't trying to kill him for doing nothing like others had tried before. The car was still in pretty good condition for now, it could get him to a possible nearby safe haven that people might have made.
He looked down the road and saw a large building in the distance. Didn't look to lively so George decided it was best to check it out. His car wasn't too far away from the building when it broke down. Noises came from the engine and bumps continued to happen. George shook his head in disbelief and slammed his clenched fists on the wheel. "No, no, no, not now, NO. FUCK!" he shouted in anger, it looked like he was stuck here for now.
George got out of the car and approached the building's front doors. He looked inside a nearby window, but saw nothing useful. He gave a couple of knocks as loud as he could. "Umm... Hello? Is anyone on the other side?" he shouted, hoping that if someone was on there, they would hear him.
Two days before the "Empire of Dirt" and "Just a Little Girl" Threads...
Adolphus happened to be outside--in the courtyard--when the knocking came. He immediately looked over the source, which was accompanied with shouts from a man. It sounded as if he had an accent--not American. Adolphus' eyes narrowed. He debated on having Daniels check it out, but the man was reckless. No doubt that recklessness would get him killed some day. Seeing as how Daniels and Adolphus were the closest to the gate, it was bound to be one of them. Adolphus made his way to the gate. Truth to tell, he'd not experienced anything like this before: a man desperately wanting to enter.
"Yes, someone's on the other side. Many people, actually," was all he offered, waiting for the man's response. If he was smart, he'd make his case for entry, if that was what he indeed desired.

George patiently waited for someone to answer the door. He was loud enough for anyone on the others side to hear, including walkers. If no one answered on the other side, George would just have to bust in and see if there's anything he could scavenge.
This time though, it seemed like some sort of God favoured him as there was in fact an answer. A man said there was multiple people on the other side, probably a group, George just had to get himself into their little posse. "So you're a group? I've been looking for a group of people, you might know them". He took a breath and hoped these people would know the one's he was looking for. "Remy, Anthony, Andrei, Wilkson, Nick, Vivian, Yuri. Any of those names sound familiar to you?".
Adolphus' eyes widened as the man mentioned the first three names: Remy, Anthony, Andrei. This was no coincidence--what were the odds of another group having those three names? Next no none. "Open the gate!" Adolphus roared. Within seconds, the gate began to open, and Adolphus laid eyes upon the man. He could tell based on the man's demeanor and plea that he wasn't here for violence. "You knew them? Remy, Andrei, Anthony? I did as well! Come in, come in, and welcome to Gripsholm...what's your name?"

After listing names of the many members of his former group, George waited patiently for a reply. It was silent momentarily until he heard they were opening the gate. It seemed this community was friendly and had good intentions. "Thanks for opening, it's a bit rough out here". He watched the gate open infront of him and saw the man he was talking to from the other side, he looked like he had been pretty fucked up. It came a surprise to George when the man said he also knew a few members of the group. "Yeah, I was with them in Miami a while back, but I lost them eventually, and I'm George, what's your name?".
"Yes, yes," Adolphus smiled at the man. "It is rough out there." Adolphus gestured towards the burn across his face, which had been given to him by a member of the Miami group. "You'll find safety here. We've got plenty of men, and plenty of guns!"
Adolphus ushered George inside--he had a use for this man. "We knew the same people, George. See my face? They did this to me...because I accidentally stumbled upon their camp. They're not good people--thank God you got away from them in time." Adolphus placed a hand on George's shoulder and gave a warm, almost fatherly smile. "I've reason to suspect that they're in Colorado, same as us."
"You can call me Adolphus."

Whack. BB's head and back met the wall in a unfriendly way. The force behind him made him feel physical pain, a sensation he hadn't felt in a long time. It was kind of refreshing really. For a moment he figured that insulting the big English guy wasn't the best of ideas; was 'limey twat' even that much of an insult? Some people just couldn't take a joke. Still, he had underestimated the British guy's strength, and it had been a while since he himself was in a fight that didn't involve firearms. The safety of Gripsholm Castle had also made him somewhat less careful than usual and a bit lazy.
Still, all that time practicing Krav Maga in the Clearwater training facility would've been a waste of time if he wasn't going to fight back right now. This guy had gotten the beat on him, but that wasn't going to happen a second time. One of BB's advantages was that people always underestimated him. Especially bruisers like the British guy.
"What? That's all ya got mate?" The British bruiser said. "This the killer everyone's so fuckin' afraid of?"
The man came towards BB and BB decided now was a good time to fight back. As the man put his leg towards him, BB kicked him in the knee making the man drop on it. BB got up and punched the man several times in the throat, causing him to gasp for air. It rendered the man as good as defenseless. BB saw this an opportunity to grab the man by the neck and throw him over the balcony of the staircase that amounted to where Adolphus was entertaining the new arrival.
The British bruiser crashed on the floor right next to Adolphus and the new arrival. The crushing sound of bone and sinew filled the entrance hall. People stopped what they were doing. BB himself was a bit relieved the British guy didn't land on Adolphus. Yet another thing the old man could whine about.
"Whoops!" BB casually shouted from the balcony. "My bad boss! You might wanna... y'know, stick him in the brain or something!"
"Fuck me..." BB thought. "Here we fuckin' go again..."

He gave a smile back to the man who had greeted him. George walked into the building and looked around, it was certainly well protected and spacious. The scarred man told him about the safety inside the settlement, they had lots of guns apparently, George could really use one after losing his. The scarred man spoke about the group they had both been in, that they had attacked him for just stumbling upon the camp. "That doesn't sound like the people I know, they always looked out for each other" he said with cautious tone. The man introduced himself as Adolphus, that sounded familiar. George thought about for a minute, but eventually stopped worrying himself about it, he probably heard it from the group as Adolphus was a former member.
Introductions had finished when a man came crashing down to the floor with a huge crack. George looked up to the balcony to see a man stood there apologising for the incident. "You guys seem... Friendly to each other" George shrugged. "To be fair, who can resist a good fight. I always used to have bar fights and stuff. It seems I came across the right group".
"That's what I thought, too," Adolphus said to George, feigning something resembling remorse. He exhaled, then faking frustration. "They brought me in, but before long I was being held at gunpoint. They burnt my face. I killed one of theirs, and was able to escape, thank God." He looked over to George again and outstretched his arms, as if showcasing the "castle."
"This is Gripsholm Castle--or, that's what we call it. If you know how to use a gun, you'll be just--" Adolphus was cut off as a body fell from an upper level, landing right next to him with a loud thud.
Before he even looked up, Adolphus knew who was the culprit. His head darted upwards to see BB, who remarked that Adolphus should "stick" the man in the brain.
"One of these days, BB, I fear you and I are going to come to an insurmountable...obstacle in our relationship," Adolphus smiled up at the man, so as to mask his rage. "How about you come down here and finish what you started?"
Before BB could respond, Adolphus held up his hand, and looked over to George. He approached the new arrival and unsheathed his knife and handed it to him. He then looked over at the man who'd fallen at the hands of BB. The man was as good as dead--hard to say whether he was dead yet. The crunch of the fall left the man's status at this moment unknown, without feeling for a pulse, but again, he was as good as dead.
"What kind of man are you? Can you do what needs to be done? You heard BB. Stick him."

George couldn't let his look stray away from the dead man. Although like he mentioned, a fight is always good, it seemed like a useless and meaningless death, as if it wouldn't get them any where if he lived or not. George started to question what kind of people he had actually come across, the thieves and liars or the good survivors. The dead man was most likely going to turn soon so a jab to he brain would help.
Adolphus, the man who greeted him, handed over his knife to George and asked him to assure the man was dead. He took the knife from his hand and stood near the dead man. He knelt down and was ready to stick him, but he then thought of the people back in Miami. He left them his gun and heard them die behind him, he was the cause of their death. George hesitated to stab him as he may have a chance of survival. He quickly shook his head along with the thoughts in his head and stabbed him in the brain. The blood spurted onto the nearby ground and George himself. He pulled out the knife and stood up, looking at Adolphus. "I can do what's necessary".
Gabe stood there with his back leaned up against the wall. A group of three other guards stood around him, chatting their way out of doing work. "When are we even going to do this attack?" one of them asked, sounding impatient with boss man and the others. "We attack when the time is right, Boss Man and the others are still doing some planning. Holly and Lachland have been set a task of tryin' to get in there" Gabe stopped and thought about what the outcomes of these plans would be, of he'd live it through. "Dunno if it'll work or not".
A loud crunch could be heard from where they had swarmed, sounded like bones cracking. Gabe's immediate thoughts were that it was BB, he had the sort of humorous evil to him, Gabe liked the man. A smile hit his face as he turned to the guards. "I'll go and check that out" he said standing up straight and approaching to where the sound came from.
It was by the gate, Boss Man was stood there with a newcomer and BB was up on a balcony. Gabe saw a dead man on the floor bein stabbed by the newcomer, probably explains why ther was a crunching sound and why BB was on a balcony. He approached Adolphus with a greeting smile. "Hey there, Boss Man, what the fuck is going on?"
Ivy was out exploring for a few days and finally made her way back toward Gripsholm Castle. Her white horse diamond stopped at the front gate. “Bonjour it’s moi, now open the gates ass holes.” Ivy said in an annoyed tone. She knew the ones opening the gates where the regular guards, not the other lieutenants. Of course she didn’t care and would call them ass holes as well, but she did her best to get along with them, because that is what Adolphus wanted.
The gates opened and Ivy saw the guards. “What no red carpet?” she asked as she sighed. The horse galloped inside and Ivy stopped once more, she looked back at the guards. “Next time don’t forget it.” She said referring to the red carpet. Then she shook her head and with a smile she said. “Ah the basse classe.”
She took her horse to the stables, made sure it had enough water and food and then headed inside, looking to find the others.
