Clementine grins bigger after handing off the baby. She gasps for fresh breath after her hands were free, not even aware she had been holding it. "I thought your were immune to sad eyes and cute stuff like that. Besides... We decided fair and square."
She smiles to Shadow thoughtfully petting the husky down the back. "Hey there, Shadow." Nodding, she gave Shadow a couple gentle pats and turned her gaze over to Mark and the baby. "I was thinking of calling him Eddie or maybe Lee."

Dakota glanced briefly off to the side, nodding in amused but earnest agreement with Clem, "We both did say not it first. That's super totes fair." Her young voice kept a more nasal quality as she kept her nose pinched to the smell.
While Mark was changing the baby, she gave a couple pets to Shadow's ears. Listening to Clem's ideas for named reminded her of her own, and Koda piped in right after, "And I was thinking about Max." She paused and glanced out the window, "Is it safe to go back yet?"
Mark threw the use diaper away as the girls talked. He mimicked their voices, "Super fair. Totes fair." As Mark finished putting the new diaper on he picked up the baby as it cooed softly. A smile spread across the bikers face. "Lee, Max, or Eddie? You seem more like a Lee to me."
Looking at the girls then back outside. "Yeah it should be fine but stay close to me." Mark smiled at the girls as he cradled the baby. "Lets get some food and then we'll go to sleep. We'll have to make a makeshift bed for the little Lee."
Ash grabbed Kiku's shoulder instead of spinning her around again he just talked to her. "No matter how important something is you don't risk your life for it!" His attitude quickly soured towards the new girl. "Get back to the motel now." Ash pointed back to the Motel shining his light around making sure no walkers were near.
Kiku stared long and hard into the strangers eyes. Who was he to say that? She knew it was silly but it was the last thing she had of her father and it helped keep her safe, she wasn't about to leave it behind.
"You didn't have to follow me, you could have left me behind," she replied sourly.
Dakota screwed one side of her face up thinking the baby's new name over. "Lee? Hm..." She shrugged and smiled, "That works. Hey, Lee." She slid from her chair, and collected her rifle and other things. Dakota added on the side, "And it was hella totes fair."
Opening the door for Mark, she stayed close to his right side. She made herself ready, but really hoped it was all clear. "I hope Papa Bear and Tala are okkay too. You think so?"
Clementine smiled, I guess he does kinda look like a Lee. Hi Lee. I'm sorry about your dad. Me Koda miss our dads too." She stood on tip toe to gently squeeze one of little Lee's tiny hands. Collecting her things, she followed Mark closely. Looking ahead in the dark, her smile faded into a worried frown, "Please be okay."
Mark walked out of the room with the tow girls and the baby still in his arms. Lee made some noises as the cold air hit him. Mark wrapped the blanket around him a little more hearing the girls worry about Ash. "Tala and Ash should both be fine. They're strong both of them. Though I think Tala might be a little tougher than Ash."
Mark had been shot before but before the outbreak. The scar located on his back was a reminder of the incident. "If this kid develops either of your smart ass attitudes i'm gonna be a little pissed." Mark let out a chuckle.
"No I didn't but...Dammit." Ash grabbed his head again the ringing in his ears returned as his vision became blurry. After calming himself down the noise and blurriness disappeared. "Come on i've got two little girls to take care of."
Ash walked back towards the RV trying to keep Kiku in his sights. "I'm sorry i snapped on you." Sighing the Texan spotted the two girls. "There's a spot in our group if you want to stay with us." Ash waved to the girls and spotted a bundle in Marks arms. "what the?"
Kiku understood why he was so upset and he had a valid point, her kunai wasn't that important over all but it didn't change the fact that she is far more skilled with an uncommon list of weaponry. Had she been in Japan she may have been in a better position, but in America not that many people had Japanese weapons. There was also the emotional attachment, but she tried not to let it bother her most days.

Dakota freed one hand to pet at Shadow by her side. She nodded, "Yeah they are both hella tough. They havta be okkay"
She glanced up to Lee in Mark's arms, then to Mark, eyebrows raised in a giggle. "Wait... what? Nononono. That's not gonna be our fault. Not completely." Dakota opened her mouth as if to add something more, but her eyes caught sight of a figure that had to be Ash waving to them.
The girl's enthusiasm spiked immediately. She hopped energetically to wave her free arm back to Papa Bear. Beaming to Shadow, she pointed to Ash, "Look who it is, Shadow!" She turned a big grin back up to Mark, "You were right! They are hella tough. And maybe you're right about us rubbing off on Lee. It wouldn't be so bad, Clem and me turned out alright."
Clementine smiles between her friends. She was real proud of how she and Koda handled themselves as real team back in the motel room, and she was happy Mark had decided Lee was a good name for the baby. Alas, the post-apocalyptic world always gave something bitter to go with whatever sweetness in life that be clawed from it. Usually heavily bitter.
Sighing, she gave voice to her own not so different fears, "I know they are. We all have to be tough. It... It just doesn't always seem like that's enough." Distracted from following that trail of thought down it darker places, she snerked and glanced up at Mark.
She grinned, "I'm not a smart ass, so it won't be my fault at all." Clem smiled at Lee, gently pressing tip of her forefinger to his nose. Just beyond Mark and the baby, her dark gaze caught Dakota start hop-waving. Following the direction Koda was facing, she saw what must be Ash. Question of what Koda was doing immediately answered.
Clementine smiled and waved back to Ash too. A calmer and more reserved, but no less happy to see him wave! "There's one of them. Now where's Tala?"
