The RV pulled over shutting off its lights. Ash opened the door letting Shadow sniff around before they exited the RV. Barking once to show it was clear Ash got out of the RV. Turning on the flashlight he duck taped to his crossbow he scanned the area Shadow sniffing around the area. "I got nothing here. Shadow will let us know if there are any walkers around." Moving to the others he kept his bow in his hands.

Wyatt stopped his car. He and castle had been talking for the whole time, of course there was a lot to talk about. Wyatt finally learned how they all got separated and told Castle how he lost their female companion and the dog. It was a quite emotional ride, filled with sadness and joy, but he was happy he told the whole story to Castle and of course he was happy to know the story of Cas as well. Sharing all these things they had been through, during their split up, made their friendship even stronger.
As Wyatt saw the how the RV its lights went out, he did the same in his car. Then he grabbed his backpack from the back seat and searched for his flashlights. He had two of them so he looked at Castle and asked “Do you have your own flashlight, or want to borrow one of me?” After that he smiled. While he waited for an answer he saw someone leaving the RV to check the area, it was pretty dark so he didn’t had a good look and who it was. “Should be help him scan the area, or do we wait?” Wyatt asked.
Tala had fallen asleep during the ride. She was curled up near Marko, and at some point, her head ended up on his shoulder. She woke and wiped her mouth. Then lifted her head, realizing how close she was to him. She scooted away a bit, "sorry." She looked over at the girls. She had seen Clem's pain and wanted so badly to comfort her, and tell her it was all going to be alright. The truck had stopped and she rose up and crawled out of the back. Feet on the ground, she glanced around and saw Ash coming around the RV with a flashlight. She reached into the truck and grabbed her pack, retrieving her own flashlight. She remembered a sorta head lamp she had found at the camping store, but...no batteries. She clicked it on and pointed it to the ground, not to blind anyone. She saw a roadside motel. Hell, it beat driving all night. She peeked at Marko, "You ready to lock this place down?" She reached in and pulled out her spear, then looked to Ash, "What you say, me , you and Marko go in and clear, leave the others to check the outside and then we all crash for the night?"
Stopping the truck and shutting the engine down Mark killed the lights. "Come on Kiddies." The biker said to the rest of his passengers. Placing the keys in his vest pocket Mark climbed out. Grabbing his Shotgun from under the seat and his flashlight he moved to the back of the truck. Clicking his flashlight on Mark saw Ash and Shadow. He opened the back of the truck. Grabbing his Saddlebag he pulled out a worn out dark blue hoodie. What had once sported the name Chicago Bulls. The name lost with time the bull of the front was the only thing that showed support for the team. Taking off his vest he pulled the hoodie on and slipped his biker vest back on. "Come on Girls. You're with me until we get inside."
Lilly climbed out after Ash. She watched the two move over to Tala. Glad that for once she wasn't sleeping in the RV she looked at the buildings. It'd been so long since she'd seen a street lit up with streetlights. She heard Mark say something to the girls which brought her out of her memories of better times she looked at Mark then Ash. She quickly moved towards him not wanting to see Clementine.
They had driven most of the way in silence with Tala having fallen asleep on his shoulder, and Marko not wanting to wake her up. And at some point, he too had drifted off, but the first glimpses of nightmare had promptly jolted him awake. Instead, Marko had resigned himself to watching the passing landscape, keeping an eye out for anything of interest. The roadside view proved to be both calming and yet dull.
Eventually the truck slowed to a halt, the lights were cut and in the pitch darkness, Marko could see a silhouette stepping out of the RV. Tala had woken up and apologized, to which Marko simply smiled back and shrugged. The outline of what looked like a motel could be seen in the distance, and as risky as it was stumbling around in the darkness, he doubted any of them would be willing to stay one more night in the cramped vehicles.
Marko stood among the others, flashlight in one hand and his combat knife in the other. Even though he wouldn't admit it, the darkness was unnerving, and the eerie silence sent a shiver up his spine. The pitch black that surrounded him... It was all too familiar. Marko turned away from the others, hoping to avoid their gaze. They wouldn't understand. Afraid of the dark, Marko? Pathetic
And by turning away from their gaze, he met the gaze of another.
In the distance stood a shadow, no taller than an average man, face hidden away by the lack of light, yet Marko knew it was grinning, laughing inside. The ghost stood still, watching him for the longest time before turning away and dissapearing back into the shadows. That was no walker, and it certainly wasn't a man. In fact, Marko knew exactly what it was.
And that scared him.
Slowly stepping back to Tala and Ash, Marko swallowed. The others couldn't see him shaken like this, so he hoped the nightfall would be enough to cover his expression. "Yeah, sure, yeah." Marko stumbled on his own words. "That sounds good. Sleep...sounds good"
Tala heard his voice as he spoke and the hair at the nape of her neck stood up. She glanced at Marko, but didn't say a word. She tucked her flashlight into her back pocket, and glanced around. She waited for Mark to come around with the girls, and Cas and Wyatt to get to the back of the truck before going over her thoughts of a plan.
Tala stared at Lilly , and stiffened a bit. She had caught bits and pieces of Clem's and Koda's conversation last night. This woman was a piece of work. The thought shocked her for a second. Hadn't...she left them too? She felt a pang in her chest, and couldn't look at Lilly. She eased closer to Marko and looked him dead in the eyes. One brow rose, and he would see her searching gaze. She would wait, later...she would talk to him, make sure he was alright.
Castle heart weighted a little heavy after the journey. She was gone god's know were and his quest to find her gone with it his only thought was the promise he made to Tala. when the cars began to stop Castle rubbed his face. "well it looks like this is home for the night." when Wyatt offered for a flash light Castle shook his head. "I'm alright man I have my own...Well more of less." Castle reached into his bag pulling out a head touch and putting it on. "Only the finest fashion." he said to himself as he turned it on and climbed out of the car.

Wyatt heard how Cas said he didn’t need a flashlight. “Okay, well let’s go then.” Then he grabbed his guns, while on the way the agreed that Wyatt could have them back as his defense when they arrived at their destination. After that Wyatt got out of the car and walked next to Castle.
He could see all the people standing there and even though he had a sh*tty welcome, he was happy to have found a group and even happier Castle his British mate was there. Al he could hope was that they would trust him in time.
Tala fell silent for a moment as Cas walked up with Wyatt. She moved back from Marko, 'Cas...Wyatt." She held her hand out to the new man, "if Cas hasn't told you, I'm Tala." She glanced at Cas, 'I was planning to go in a search rooms, and the office. Then we can get some sleep, have some stay out and search the outside, that way cover both sides. So..Marko, me, Ash....gonna go in...anyone else?" She smiled at Ash, "I want Mark to stay out with the girls, maybe Cas...and Wyatt will stay with them, and Lilly can come with us?" She glanced around, then looked back at the building, "Not too big, but it will be nice to have a bed for a change."
Castle smiled when Tala introduced herself. "Don't worry crumpet I told him about you and your pervy ways." he smiled and winked. As Tala spoke about her plan Castle was unsure and spoke "Hey Ash if you want to spend some more time with the girls you can i'll go in instead. We can move in teams of two." he turned to lilly. "That's if you want to join." He smiled and turned back to the rest. "If me, Tala, Marko and lilly go in while Ash, The Girls, Mark and Wyatt oh and the hound stay out here to guard our cars and supply's seems like a better idea unless Marko and Ash want to swap out?" Castle really needed this place the group did a nice place to rest would be a god send about now but they needed to keep up an appearance just encase more people showed up with people like Ash and mark guarding the cars people wouldn't dear make a move.
Marko was distracted by the disappearing shadows in the distance.
The night breeze that wasn't as cold before now felt like winter on his skin, and throughout their whole conversation, Marko couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He hadn't been scared of the dark since he was five, cowering under the blanket hoping the 'monsters' would go away. The monsters in the closet couldn't hurt him... These? Marko wasn't so sure. The hair on the back of his neck stood up and he swallowed. The others couldn't see him like this.
Turning back to the matter at hand, trying to occupy his mind, Marko caught the last bit of Castle's question. Marko shook his head to clear out his mind. Need to focus. Focus, or you're dead. "I'm all right with clearing the place out" He answered, quickly glancing behind him, his grip on the knife tightening. "The sooner we get it done, the better. It's going to get much... much darker soon..." As he said it, Marko wasn't entirely certain what he meant.
"I've got no problems with keeping an eye out." Ash tucked on of his hands into his leather jacket. He looked back at Lilly before he spoke again. "You should go with them." He got the same glare he always got when he'd give her an order. He shot her a look back before walking back behind the truck with Mark.
Nodding to the biker Ash looked at the girls. He felt his smile return seeing them. "If we split up we can both take a side of the building. I'll take Dakota and Shadow." Shadow pushed his head into the back of Ash's knee. He placed his hand on the dogs head rubbing it. "Take Clementine see if you can't get her to calm down with the whole Lilly thing."
Mark wished he had a cigarette. The nicotine withdrawal was hitting him hard. He could hear the others talking. Sitting on the tailgate of the truck Mark put his hands into his vest pockets. Ash walked around the side of the truck and talk about the two splitting up with the girls. "Yeah I can take her. Don't know what I'd talk about but I could give it a shot." Mark started playing with his flashlight thinking waiting for the girls to get out of the truck.
Lilly stared at the others. She didn't trust them but Ash was so relaxed. Shooting Ash a glare when he said he didn't mind leaving her with these new people. He had a weird way to introduce people. Watching Ash leave she crossed her arms and looked at the others. "Lets go. It's getting cold out here." Lilly stared walking past them towards the buildings.

Wyatt shook Tala’s hand. “Nice to meet you Tala.” He softly said. He then laughed as Cas said he told him about her pervy ways. He then listened to Tala her plan, followed by some extra info of Cas and nodded in agreement. “I’m happy I can stay, so I’ll do as you ask, I’m in no position to argue or something, plus it sounds like a good plan.” Wyatt said with a little smile.
Wyatt then noticed that the guy called Marko, if he remembered right, was acting a bit on edge, but since he was new, he decided not to ask anything. Wyatt just hoped everything was ok with him. After that the guy with the hound started to say what the ones outside should clear, Wyatt wasn’t placed at any side so he guessed he had to stay and keep an eye on the supplies and cars. “I guess I’ll guard the supplies and vehicles then?” he asked as he looked from one person to another.
Tala nodded at Wyatt, "thanks..." she saw Lilly head to the building. She really wasn't going to like her. It was getting cold, but she didn't want a coat, worried it would hamper her.
Tala looked at Cas, "Alright, you wanna go on the right side with Lilly and I will take the left with Marko?" She glanced at Marko, and was worried he wasn't gonna hold it together long enough to get this over with. Was he alright, or what?
The roadside motel looked like a U, but more boxy. The office sat in the bend of the U at the back , with rooms on either side of the large parking lot. It looked like 16 rooms in all with half the parking lot belonging to the pool.
Castle was happy people were agreeing to his plan when Tala ask who should go with who. "I'd love to just flip a coin right now and have it decided that way But Lilly and I will go together and clear out the right." he grabbed a hold of the hilt of his blade and slowly drew it. "Plan is plane and simple go in kill the dead heads and then relax and have tea or supper what ever you yanks call it. We need to be quiet as possible so only shoot if you have no other option."
He looked towards Tala and Marko. "You two stay safe now and if you hear any girly screams more then likely that's me." Castle started walking heading towards the motel drawing the blade out fully.
Clementine sat mostly in brooding silence the whole day, avoiding or outright ignoring the topic of Lily had it been brought up. The most she said was to task to borrow one of Koda's books to read. She chose 'Bunnicula' . Might as well see if it was all Koda cracked it up to be.
She still wanted to talk to Lilly again, but she wasn't sure she wanted to talk to anyone about it until she did. Even Koda. Was Clem sure she was ready herself? Good question. Maybe it would be better to wait.

Dakota had tried once or twice more to get Clem to open up a bit more about Lilly, if only to get her bestest friend to stop brooding. She was only meant with Clem's silence on the matter, and a sad smile with a quiet request to borrow Bunnicula. Koda took that to mean her friend might talk more later, so she let it go.
Reading more herself, she drifted off to sleep in her corner. She hadn't slept all that well, and the familiar bump and hum of the road put her into a very deep sleep. Dreams that would take her through most of the day's ride.
The one time she drifted out of her nap, she wondered aloud, ”I wonder if my birthday has happened yet. That would mean... I'm 12 now. At least one birthday wish finally came true. Which is good.. 'cuz the last two sure did suck.”
Dakota fell back into dreamland's hold along the way, and was still mildly groggy when she heard Mark call to get out the truck. She grabbed her rifle, and slipped Ash's old crossbow on over her shoulder. Seeing the small motel, she could help but grouse, ”Do we have to sleep in there?”
She rubbed her eyes, and gently nudged Clem, who seemed distracted still when Mark and Ash agreed who would go with who. She smiled up at Ash, some relief apparent that he had not disappeared in the day's travel. ”Papa Bear... Did you know it might be my birthday?”
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
